After taking care of Dick for the weekend, Annette was surprised she didn't end up sick herself. But it was worth being around him and helping him because she thought he was feeling much better by last night.

She was in a pretty good mood coming into work this morning, and greeted Gladys and petted Not Tiddles, before she settled herself behind the counter to do post office-y stuff.

A bowl of candy corn was set out on the counter as well as miniture Reeses, Snickers, and Hershey's kisses wrapped in orange and dark brown foil. Yum. She would seriously try to keep her hands out of the candy bowls.

It was almost candy tiem nau.

Or, it would be if Bart understood what 'tiem' and 'nau' meant. He was under the impression it was Dutch for 'squirrel fun'.

Don't ask.

Still, Bart was practically bouncing. And eying the candy.

Today's Squishy flavors: Grape Judas, Red, CANDY!

Chad came into the store, opened it, did a few things, and then promptly just may have accidently fallen asleep.

Did we say fallen asleep? He was just resting his eyes.

Today's music: soft classical.

Groovy Tunes is open.

[[ no OCD today; I'm having a bit of a vision crisis and working hopefully solving it, but it means I won't be around this morning as originally intended, so any pokes at Chad will have to wait probably until the end of the day ]]

Mary should be working on paperwork this morning. Instead, she was looking at a photograph of a little house with a white picket fence and daydreaming.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

Joanna had some headphones on. Occasionally, she would raise a hand to cover her mouth. At times, she would fan herself with a wad of tickets.

It could be that Joanna had discovered podcasts of a... romantic nature. It could be that she was learning to speak Portuguese.

[Please wait for the OCD! Have at it.]

Leo was watching the movie Halloween Samhain and getting really really freaked.

Photo Hut is open.

That guy behind the front desk and past the Guy With Tools sign, munching on a bagel as he reads the newspaper, would be Xander, yes. What? He does eat something besides doughnuts once in a while.

Yes, that's totally a box of doughnuts on the counter. Shut up.

Leo had his camera out and was taking pictures of the swings, which were moving by themselves. Now, maybe it was the wind. He'd see what the pictures showed.

[For a certain spooky rider, but open.]

A girl and a horse walked into an ice cream shop.

Molly, after waking up again and making a few phone calls, had pulled on a jacket, shoes and her oldest hat with the dangley pompoms and gone to get Trenor so that they could feel sorry for themselves together. Not that Trenor knew he needed to feel sorry for himself for being left behind, Molly just wanted to keep the horse in sight so that no one could come get him without her knowing about it.

She held onto Trenor's lead loosely as she studied the board, completely oblivious to anyone who might be staring at them. "What do you think, Trenor? Watermelon sorbet for you? I'm going to work my way down the menu, but I'm afraid you're stuck with the fruits. I guess we'll see what you like."

[[OOC: Trenor modded with permission. Expecting a few people, but open for anybody.]]

Monday morning, and Tink was not that hung over for once. Oh miracle! Oh joy! Had she learned restraint at last?

No, she'd just drank her way through Squall's tequila and found herself too bored to fly to the store for more.

There was absinthe here. She would be liquored up in no time.

Pixie Dust was ever so fabulously open.

George Michael has been working all day. Really, he has. It's just that he is feeling kind of mopey today. He would probably go unnoticed he's so mopey. The stand no. George Michael, yes.

But he's here and that's what counts.

There was an Open sign on the door of Wellspring Arms.

There was, however, very little sign of Cable. Every once so often, he might be caught rummaging through the store.

He was working on the shooting range today.

If there were any visitors, he would know.

Ami hurried in, slightly late. It was midterms season and she was studying before work.

When Robin headed in for yet another night of drinking, she found the place once again deserted except for that guy who'd been there that other time. He had a name, but she couldn't remember it. Something -o. Mario? Ringo?

There was a banner over the stage, proclaiming that the bar was for sale on...

"eBay?" She looked skeptical, then went to peer over that one guy's shoulder at his laptop, where he'd called up the bids.

There were two, so far: $100.57 and a coaxial cable, and $83.45 plus the remaining three months of a year-long subscription to O magazine.

Once she'd figured out that it was just her and -o guy (Dingo? Plinko?), she sighed and opened the bar herself. She better start getting paid for this. Aside from the free booze, that is. Or, um, not-free booze but she was having some on the house, anyway. She didn't think Fabio or whatever would tell anyone important.

[I'm totally around, whooo.]

The Pumpkinhead Horseman had claimed a horse and his first victim. That wasn't enough for him, though. He needed more. The night was young. He had a cape, a horse, and a pumpkin for a head. It was time for a night on the town, hunting for more people to throw mini-pumpkins at.

[OOC: If you want to get in on the pumpkin attack fun without arranging something special, feel free to drop a comment in here and note where you happen to be in the town when you want to get attacked. You don't have to be signed up in the plottery post to be in this post.

And that's all for tonight. The Horseman will be out again tomorrow night. Thanks to all of tonight's victims!]
