misshargrove.livejournal.comSitting on a bench in the park, Annette dazed off across the pond, really seeing nothing except the events that have gone on over the last half week. Karal was right, she needed to go home and tell the truth to her parents. Tell them she lied about the bruise to her cheek, tell them everything. But... yesterday tore her up all over again. She was so hurt over her conversation with A.J. that she just didn't know how to make that any better at all. They ended up yelling at each other and her leaving in tears. And then last night, with Dick; he didn't want her to go back home either. What is the wise choice here?
Annette had no idea what to do and was taking a moment to sit and try not to think at all. It wasn't working very well and her stomach was all knotted up with worry, tension, stress, and hurt.
Closing her eyes, she concentrated on Karal's words to her, the blessing he gave her...
[The park is open, but Annette is melancholy. Shut up! She didn't want to go to the roof, okay?! Man.]
