Since the date with Beauty had gone...really well, it left A.J. in a pretty good mood, leaving him feeling like he really was a good guy who could do nice things like that for people and wasn't just a jerk like he'd been feeling like. Good mood meant good art, putting up something beautifully abstract for the special and sketching in his sketchbook a bit, and thinking of maybe doing something like that for Troy. If he could sit through a Greek tragedy for Beauty, he could probably stand to sit through a musical for Troy.

Anne had a letter from Diana in hand as she opened the store today, as well as a letter from Queens Academy about her admission status.

Both of them received a great deal of thought and mulling over once she had set out the tea and pastries and settled into her chair.

Anders showed up just long enough to open the bar, pat Tino on the shoulder, and announce, "You're in charge tonight. Try not to blow anything up."

Before Tino could object, he'd run off again, grinning.

He was so going to get jars of olives thrown at his head next week.

Victor arrived in the store a little late today. His alarm hadn't gone off, so he destroyed it. Shockingly, he was not a morning person. Or an afternoon person. Or an evening person. He was going to need to get a new alarm clock now. That didn't improve his mood.
