The kitchen staff was inspired by being in Greece, trying various different dishes in order to expand their repertoire of culinary talents. Even Mokona was getting into the spirit, running around in a miniature chef's hat.

Fai left them to their fun, sitting at his usual table with a cup of tea and a notebook.

Lana was pretty happy about the change in location. She hadn't had an opportunity yet to go exploring on Santorini, but she planned to do so soon. In the meantime she had the door to the shop open and was enjoying the sunshine and breeze.

Tea, coffee, and pastries were all set out for customers.

Anyone entering Groovy Tunes today would be greeted first with the particular gaze of three sets of cat eyes, and possibly, depending on the kitten's mood, either a purring twine round the ankles or a nip on an impertinent hand offered for a sniff.

The proprietress was in the back room, trying to decide which CDs she needed for her trip. She had cut down from 300 to 150, and considered this admirable progress,

George Michael had listened to the radio last night and now he was slightly worried about Greek blokes. They were supposedly hot blooded, right? Like the Italians? 

He was slightly nervous in demeanor as he readied the stand for business. It wasn't an unfamiliar feeling but one he could really do without.

"I'm just a banana guy, right?" he said to the nuts he was chopping. "I mean, a banana guy. Come on..."

George Michael decided he should take a trip home to visit his family.

Geoffrey had his play.

It had taken isolation, a little more madness than even he was used to, and more bananas then he liked to contemplate... but he had his play. His vision of the text. His examination of the human soul through a four hundred year old lens that still held it's sharpness, it's color, it's power.

The sign was out front as per usual, ragged and ridiculous as ever. Written below it was the important bit, though.

The York Gallery; Tuesday [ 06/05 ]

Usually, Charlotte wasn't spending much time in the gallery on a Tuesday, but she had a lot of work to do. The Matsuyama exhibit was coming down, and she had a lot of measuring and plotting to do for how the next one to come in will be arranged and set up and placed.

There was a sign in the large windows announcing that the gallery was closed for the installation of a new exhibit, but the door was open to let in the cool breeze of the day and to keep Charlotte wondering if she should just give up on working, do this all tomorrow, and then perhaps tentatively go out and enjoy the fact that the island was relocated, despite the fact that she was really quite confused by it.

Arms Hotel Lobby, Tuesday

So Jeff had been maybe a little depressed over the whole radio thing. And the Greek blokes. He was starting to get a little paranoid about the Greek blokes.

That's why he parked out in the lobby late, neatly arranging Nana so she'd obstruct the way for anyone trying to get near the kitchen. Or the restaurant.

He couldn't take the chance that Gunther would cook Greek.
