Romeo was standing at Pixie Dust's door, keys in hand, when a large, fluffy bear fell from the sky, smashing Romeo into the ground (and ruining his clean white shirt) before scampering off. He could swear the thing looked like it was laughing.

He glared at its retreating form and rubbed his aching knees as he entered the store. He'd have to take an umbrella with him if he went out on his break; he wondered if any umbrella in the store was strong enough to ward off a bear attack.

He also wondered if anyone had ever thought that sentence before.

Pixie Dust was open.

Juli was distinctly Not Amused by the bears falling from the sky.

This was why she was down in the Perk, using napkins to brush at the dirt that had gotten on her clothing from her own brush in with a bear--one moment just walking along calmly, and pleased that class was over with for another week, and the next moment... she’d been facedown in the dirt and managed to catch a bare glance of the culprit--and glad, at least, that she always had a comb with her.

The dirt on her clothing, well, there was little she could do about that. The mess of her hair? She could do a lot more for.

And, admittedly, coffee was always a good thing.

[Open, yes of course!]

The last thing G'Kar expected to find when he walked into the store was Apu sprawled out on the floor.

"Apu!" he rushed over, concerned, "Are you all right?"

"It came out of the sky," he mumbled.

"Out of the sky? What..."

That was as far as G'Kar got as something heavy and covered with fur (fur??) dropped onto him.

Stunned, he found himself on the floor next to Apu and only caught a glimpse of something large, grey and furry dashing out the door.

He glanced at Apu. "I think we are better off if we disregard this incident." Apu nodded agreement as they both got up and proceeded to go about their day as if nothing strange had happened.

When opening the shop today, Temari found herself attacked by strange bear-like creatures. This was not the best idea with a jumpy ninja as the target.

The koala in question? Now hiding in the meditation room far, far from any harm.

Poor thing.

There wasn't really any kind of red carpet he had, and as his actors gathered in the backstage area, Geoffrey didn't know much of what to say to them. He felt horrible that he'd forgotten to put up the posters but he couldn't help that now. And they didn't need a soppy, apologetic director right now, especially as this was the first performance for many of them. But he knew his actors and he knew the performance and he knew that this would play out on the stage as he'd put everything together. There was no music, there were no effects, but the text itself was strong in this group and the story was in their blood.

As much as, in some cases, they let it be.

Let the play begin!

[ooc: OPENING NIGHT, which means: your character can come to the performance! Stop by the box office post if you'd like to get a ticket or just come and handwave it; feel free to assume NPC audience but it'd be wonderful for people to come! Make it an event! ^_^][ocd coming up]

Mary had taken Monday off since she was worn out from the convention over the weekend, but today she was back at work. It seemed like it would be a quiet day, and she was looking forward to checking out Australia.

And then something dropped from the ceiling and knocked her down. Mary got just a glimpse of something that looked like a koala bear scampering off as she looked around for whatever fell on her.

Murdock had handwavily called Amber last night to see if she was up for starting on some basic self-defense techniques in the morning.

So here he was, stretching out and warming up a bit in the main sparring area of the gym. He'd forgone the usual threads, wearing instead a set of grey sweats.

Now all he needed was a partner.

(ooc: primarily for Amber, but open if people want to come by and watch. or talk. whatever.)

Something had fallen from the ceiling right on to his head, making him spill his coffee. Gabriel had scowled at the small, furry creature that had scurried off and was now in a foul mood. Cat had decided it was safest to hide.

Jack wasn't paying attention opening up the shop, which is why as soon as he unlocked the door, a drop bear thought it would be an excellent chance to attack.

Photo Hut is open, as is the door, because it's blocked by an unconscious Jack.

After her flailing over a bikini, the day was too chilly for one anyhow, so Ella was clad in a sundress and light cardigan as she sat on a rock, waiting for her date. The swimsuit was stowed in her bag alongside a sack of cookies and oranges, just in case the weather changed or she changed her mind.

She fidgeted a little as she sat there, unable to decide if she was nervous but excited or excited but nervous.

Rikku had gotten a phone call, hooray! One from her very own little sister, who had apparently been at a convention full of droids (AWESOME).

This, of course, required ice cream, so she could hear all about it and find out how her little sib was settling in to Fandom and get really, really hyped up on sugar. Which was always a good time.

She was bouncing in her seat and awaiting her little sib. And bouncing. Particularly that.

(For the Momoko! Also open for all your Chilly Boulder-type needs!)

Shortly after her class on weaponry and guns, Alice made her way downtown -- dodging errant flying bears -- and opened the music shop for her shift.

Days like this, one could hardly miss Wonderland.

Groovy Tunes was open, and Alice was browsing the Es.

Marshall and Evelyn came into the bar looking for a drink and only found Tino there. He decided to be a good samaritan and help Tino out for the evening since it didn't look like the other guy was coming in. "Helping" in this case meant seeing how many olives he could juggle. So far it was just two. And it wasn't so much juggling as much as it was tossing them back and forth between his hands.

[Yeah I started writing this under the wrong login and just decided to roll with it. That's how lazy I am]
