The island was in a new location. Again. If the new locations hadn't been turning out so well, he might have been getting irritated with the constant change of surroundings but he really couldn't complain when it kept depositing them in such nice places.

Nevertheless, he was back out at the ruins of the Echolls mansion. The framework was starting to take shape even further and soon enough, siding, flooring, ceiling and other necessities would be going up.

Not quite yet though. Still more building and stacking to be done.

"Good morning," Fraser said pleasantly. "I hope you all are enjoying the island's new location. For today, we're going to continue with what we've been doing. It should be completed by Friday at the latest. And Friday is when Mr. Harris should be back so you won't have to see me all the time. I know, it's been hard."

With a smile, he nodded at the crew before sending them off to work.

Today seemed the sort of day, as he came in to open the store a little late after his class, where Chad realized things. Things like, hey, we've moved again. Hey, there's a lot of weird birds around. Hey, Danny Aiello was still alive and putting out music.

The most prominent thing he noticed, though, he noticed when playing with Prince Oscar Pedro in his downtime. His little kitten wasn't really so little or a kitten anymore; he'd really grown up quite a bit since he got him. So Chad scratched behind Prince Oscar Pedro's ears and told him, "Since you're big now, you have to make sure to be a good big brother to whatever pet Teddy gets, okay?"

There was purring. Chad figured that was as good of a yes as anything else.

So, the island was in another new place, and that was pretty cool. What WASN'T cool was Sokka having missed the robots entirely because he was locked in his room trying to come up with a master strategy for defeating Ozai. Which still needed work. He kept stealing glances at Bob and Liz, in case one they decided to do something all cool and robot-y.

Oh, and also there was that shelf that had appeared near the front of the store, half full of jars of something disgusting and half full of AWESOME chocolatey... things. And a sign:

WELCOME TO AUSTRALIA!

Lacey had been glad to get away from the stickiness and humidity of Tortuga and into a much more comfortable climate, although she still wasn't sure what to do about the diner's new piratey decor. Maybe she could just keep it as a souvenir of sorts? It would be less of a pain than ordering new furniture, anyway, and it had more personality than some completely uniform and boring sets of tables and chairs. Actually, the longer she looked at it, the more it was sort of charming.

Besides, as far as she knew, nobody had complained about it -- definitely different from Dog River, and she almost didn't know how to deal with that.

Worf arrived early and made sure that everything was in its proper order and place before opening the door and assuming his position behind the counter.

Amazingly enough, he looked even more disgruntled than usual.

Wellspring Arms was open. Tease the Klingon at your own risk.

Adah's original intention had been to go to the library to continue her research on the experiment results, her nose stuck in a thousand books among the familiar comforting shelves. But then there were birds, many birds, flocking birds, Australian birds, of a fascinating nature perhaps only bested by some of the birds she saw in the Congo, the birds that only the quiet and patient (and therefor very few) had ever even seen, much less known about.

The only books, then, with Adah's nose for company today would be the ornithology book given to her so many years ago by Brother Fowles, and her own notebook, as she sat quietly at the base of a tree in the park, sketching out their feathered forms, noting the details of their wing structures, the curves of their beaks and how that associated with their methods of obtaining food, the point (or lack thereof) of certain plummage and features, and thinking that if she could be anything other than a half-brained, half-bodied human, and a simple one-celled viral organism was out of the question, a bird wasn't a bad second choice. And if she wasn't going to be a doctor, she'd be an ornithologist, no question about it.

Reno was antsy. Antsy and edgy and scrappy, and all sorts of words that people could use to describe how badly he was itching to just beat on things.

Which was why he'd headed off to the gym with his stun baton. There were laps to be run. And then heavy bags that needed to have the hell beaten out of them with his feet and with a metal rod. And Reno was fully intending to work himself until he was ready to collapse into a red-headed heap of Turk and sweat.

It was going to be awesome.

[Open, of course!]

Seregil opened the shop after his class, setting out a selection of these tim tams that he'd found along with a pitcher of milk. He then settled down with several books on Australia while munching contentedly on the food himself.

Book Haven was open.

The interior area of Stark Industries was old knowledge by now, and Ender's feet carried him around the place as dutifully and routinely as they ever had taken him anywhere else. He said good morning to Jarvis, asked him a few of the basic, routine questions, and then settled at the computer again.

His mind wasn't as blank as his expression insinuated.

Okay, so, Australia now. Neat. Hadn't actually made it down here before. Nice of the island to fix that up, for her.

Geoffrey really needed a f%<#ing stage manager.

He was supposed to have someone to do all of this, to put these stupid things up. He was supposed to have someone to remind him that these needed to be up.... he was concerned about the PRODUCTION. He was concerned about his actors, about his space, about... getting people to leave the fricking theatre so he could eventually fall asleep. He shouldn't have to be worrying about this. That said, he was putting up posters. )

He hoped his actors appreciated this.
