Sam arrived carrying his boss's groceries for the week, including more frozen burritos and more mint chocolate chip ice cream. And some vegetables, because he figured he should at least try to get the guy to eat something semi-healthful, right?

After those were put away, he went back downstairs to man the storefront and keep an extremely wary eye out for anything that might be an alien robot that could turn into a fighter jet trying to kill him. As one does.

Stark Industries was open.

There was some big even going on in town, which meant that Sean was laying low. Busy was not his thing. At least, not this kind of busy. Which explained why he'd handwavily been at work so damn much.

The York Gallery; Sunday [ 07/27 ]

The usual Sunday tea was set up for anyone who might want it and the Banksy exhibit was still strong, though it was winding down a bit, but most of Charlotte's attention went to putting up a new sign in the window. It was simple and to the point, and she hoped it might attract some attention. Basically, it called out for any one with an artistic inkling to come inside; the proprietor would be interested in learning about what you do for a prospective on a future exhibit.

She really hoped it might be noticed, but she was on her computer working on flyers to go out around the town and other ideas to promote it.

One of the plates was currently having strong hysterics in the back of the kitchen, and nobody could understand why. She just kept screaming "the cake is a lie!" over and over and over again.

So they baked a cake.

They couldn't understand why she still wouldn't stop calling it a lie...

Jolee had spent far too much time cleaning up an oil spill apparently from the night before. That didn't make him happy.

The lack of robots around the place tonight countered the unhappiness, though.

The fact that Tino was wearing cardboard boxes wrapped in tinfoil so that he looked like a robot made him sigh.

The help wanted sign was still up.
