Jen had a vague but nagging impulse to lurk aroud the hotel and see what kinds of guests were around for this ROBOCON thing, but with her luck she'd run into someone like Steelix from her past (when he was still trying to kill her, before she arrested him) or a version of Circuit from some future where Time Force was trying to hunt her down or something.

. . . yeah, there went that nagging temptation, and Jen was concentrating determinedly on supervising the cleaning of the pizza ovens. She'd painstakingly worked out a timeline so they wouldn't all be out of commission at lunchtime; never mind that it wasn't as if they had more than two.

[OOC: Yep, moddable pizza day again . . .]

Turtle was a little sad that her duties to open the store today prevented her from really checking out the RoboCon that was going on, however she had a very clever solution. It was simply to give Liz the day off; as a robot herself, Liz the security dog would not only benefit, but she had recording equipment and could come back to Turtle with some information on how things went. Just a few minor adjustments in the programming, and off Liz went.

She did feel bad, however, that she couldn't give the SquishyBot the day off for the convention, too. She'd admit that part of it was the fact that the idea of not having Squishies for a day was a little terrifying, but, really, it mostly had to do with the fact that the SquishyBot was kind of rooted to one spot, not in the least bit mobile unless you counted moving arms and eyes, which wouldn't get her anyway.

And, of course, there was also a special:

They had guests! Wasn’t that exciting? Wasn’t it? Viki bounced a bit as she hovered near the desk. It was so exciting, and such cute little guests they had too! She spent more time watching them than anything else, really. They almost reminded her of Gadget, which really, was quite fantastic.

…she wondered was Juppo would say, really. About the guests. They had metal frames and not wooden ones and this was all quite interesting but… was there even a point in thinking about it? It wasn’t like Juppo could come here, and then, really, there was no point.

Oh.

Viki determinedly went back to her bouncing. They had guests! This was exciting! Even if it meant she had no idea what the guests ate and so her special was a bit… confused.

Pixie Dust, Saturday

It was a hungover Toby that opened Pixie Dust today.

God, the sun sucked so hardcore. Rather than doing something productive, he sat on top of the counter, sipping a V8 and trying to remember if he'd actually gotten anywhere with Tino or not. If he had, it was fanfreakingtastic. If not, he was so trying again.

Regardless, Pixie Dust was open for business.

After spending her day trolling ROBOCON, Jaye headed to work, where she found that there would be a thing going on for robots there, too.

"Do robots even drink?" Jaye asked, though her only answer was something Tino muttered about him having to make the drinks anyway.

[There will be another robot meet and greet in the lounge again tonight! You can assume the 'bots know about it. Have at it! As soon as I put up the OCD.]

Roy had taken up position in the lobby, near the radio. With RoboCon going on, it seemed a wise idea to keep an eyes on things so the troopers were on alert. While robots weren't mercenaries, it was never a bad idea to be cautious.

In the meantime, Roy had paperwork to catch up on while he kept an eye on things. It happened when he didn't pull as many night shifts as he used to.

Kevin wasn't in the best of moods today. That book he had read, well, flipped through, written by the afro dude had said that art could make you happy. Today, looking at the exhibit, all Kevin could see were man parts.

Being single sucked.

The gallery was open.

There was an interesting convention going on in town, and of course, G'Kar was curious. He settled into one of the chairs at the front of the cafe, keeping an eye open for any passing robotic lifeforms.

Did robots take sustance like their organic counterparts did? He didn't know, but he wouldn't mind finding out.

(open! humans? robots? chickens? :D )

The weekend had gone by in a big blur for Mary. Here it was, the third day of the convention, and she was still running around with her clipboard, not really stopping for anything.
