Lucas had been a little wary about heading into work. After what happened last week, he'd hidden himself away in his room, and then his alcove, trying to think things through.

Back behind the ticket counter, hiding behind a book, Lucas wondered what he'd do if Kevin stopped by again this week. He'd resolved that nothing was ever going to happen between them, but he'd never had to test his resolve in that department before.

Despite the amount of emo going around, Wonders was open for business.

Lee didn't really want to get out of bed but he figured the longer he stayed there, the more he'd get bored, restless and irritated with himself.

So, he rolled out of bed, dressed a little painfully and headed down to the beach to sit in the sand and enjoy the quiet of the ocean and the wind.

Things didn't hurt that badly today. Of course, he hadn't look in a mirror (and he wasn't planning on it). Maybe he'd go for a swim later.

Or not. It was kind of cold out.

[Beach is open like an all night convenience store. Our systems are down at work so I am boooooooored.]

While Hoshi was only too eager to get to work on the book that G'Kar showed her yesterday, there was stuff that she had to get done first, like work. She reluctantly left the cabin with Porthos that morning, making a list of busy work to keep her distracted until the end of her shift at the hotel.

He'd been inclined to call Irene that morning, but he'd changed his mind at the last minute. She'd want details, and with his plans still mostly non-existent and up in the air, it might wind up as frustrating as-- well. Talking to Wade had been the previous night.

One thing was sure, though: Cable was starting to get bored.

He spent most of his day working on his laptop, trying to predict the island's next move and the possibilities that might offer him. It wasn't enough to tame his restlessness, but it'd have to do.

"Oh my goodness gracious," Jamie said clicking his tongue in disdain as he looked at the can of beans in front of him. "Navy beans? How wicked and illicit!"

And with that he slapped a warning label on it:

PARENTAL
ADVISORY
Explicit Beans

He shuddered and then moved on to the magazine rack which caused him to gasp out loud. "How did I ever work in a place filled with such wickedness and SIN!" Jamie cried out as he began to put warning labels on the magazines. "Some of these people aren't even wearing socks! Let alone shirts! Dear, dear, dear."

PARENTAL
ADVISORY
Explicit Lack of Clothing

Apu pretty much ignored the whole thing because honestly it was better than dealing with Jamie than when he was normal. Even if he did have a warning label that said

PARENTAL
ADVISORY
Explicit Hindu Shopkeeper

Squishy Flavors: Vanilla, French Freedom Vanilla, Grape Judas Jehovah

PARENTAL
ADVISORY
Explicit Flavors OMG!

[ooc: Jamie is gremlin bit and thinks everything is filled with wickedness. And he's putting warning labels on everything. Yeah. I don't know.]

Cal came into work that day feeling quite a bit more mellow than he'd been feeling; in retrospect, the disaster that was the other day was really no worse than any other event in his life, so he calmly settled into the same sort passive go-with-the-flow attitude that he'd adopted for all those other things as well. He came into the diner, made sure there was always fresh coffee available, and then settled back to read when he didn't have anything else to do.

Robin was in a lazy, lazy mood today. As such, when she came in, she immediately started fighting with Tino on who was going to have to watch the bar tonight.

It came down to a thumb war, which Robin gleefully won. So there.

[I'm running around packing for my trip tonight, so mod Tino, please!]

Susan hadn't been able to practice her shooting for some time, and she'd found that her fingers itched for her bow. As such, she'd located Edmund (because having her brother there during practice would never be a bad thing) and trekked out to the preserve, where she was now painstakingly firing arrow after arrow into knots on a few trees, hitting the perfect center each time.

"I can't believe I've not had a chance to practice until now," she remarked. "It's so strange, having to keep the weapons so far from what we're accustomed to."

[for the baby bro, unless someone else really is dying to interrupt. I BET NO ONE CAN GUESS WHAT I'M GOING TO DO TO SUSAN. NOT LIKE I HAVE HAD A TRACK RECORD WITH MY OTHER LADIES LATELY.]
