Hoshi gave herself plenty of time to get to the hotel since she'd had trouble all week with getting lost. After a couple of stops at JGOB and the Perk, she finally got to her destination.

Millie opened the store, cheerful despite all the odd goings on.

Cable spent the morning making some phone calls. At least two of them pertained to the possibility of getting his apartment windows soundproofed. Occasionally, he would steal a look outside to see if he'd be able to spot Madrox now that the fog had faded, but it was hardly the most important thing on his mind.

The sign on the door said Open. If anyone were to enter later in the day, they'd probably find the owner surfing the internet for further updates on the Georgia situation.

Jamie was a bit disheveled as he entered Turtle and Canary. Almost as if he had fallen asleep somewhere outside in the streets of Fandom.

Which of course is why he looked exactly like that.

Still feeling groggy, Jamie took a seat behind the counter and nursed a cup of coffee while songs from animated Disney movies ran through his head.

Gabriel had never liked the Bermuda triangle. "Always said it was a bad idea," he muttered. "Not that He listened." Seeing that cursed airplane pass by didn't make things better.

He glared at Cat. "Aren't you going to catch us some breakfast?"

He got a yawn in reply.

"You know, maybe you should just think about moving your store to the beach," Irene muttered over the phone, "Considering how you seem to live there now."

"I don't like wet feet," Nate deadpanned, distractedly. He was certain he'd previously caught some kind of form on the horizon. He'd yet to pinpoint the island's exact location, but he was starting to come up with a few hunches.

"It beats you getting your hands dirty again," she snarked back. "Are you?"

And there it was again-- something bobbing along the surface. He squinted, his eye flaring up to generate some extra light. "What?"

"Getting your hands dirty."

For a moment, he could make out the shape of a name on the ship's side. Then another shadow fell across it, and no amount of concentration could bring back the particulars. "Hm," he said.

"I'll leave you to your brooding," Irene replied, and you could practically hear her eyes rolling. Nate didn't reply, but shut off his phone and resumed watching.
