Not having replaced her alarm clock yet didn't mean that Katchoo wasn't on time for work; she hadn't slept well last night at all, so she was -- amazingly -- here on time, albeit incredibly sleepy and groggy-looking. She'd never had an actual job (well, not a legal one) in her life and was a brand of vaguely apprehensive that she'd never cop to, which wasn't making her look any more cheerful, but . . . at least she didn't look outright cranky today? Comparatively speaking it was good.

When she wasn't wandering through the store making a list of supplies she was going to have to get after she got paid, she was hanging around by the counter, grateful for the fact that she didn't have to wear one of those tacky apron things. Really grateful.

[OOC: Can has OCD-freeness, and openness too!]

Johnny was all moody this morning. He needed to get away and have some fun. Go flying, and not of the firery kind, and actually thought about calling Sue to see if he could come home for the weekend. He might talk about that with Savannah later.

For now he settled behind the counter and managed to look busy.

There was polka music playing loudly in the store today, even after Romeo turned off, disconnected, and unplugged the store sound system.

He finally gave up, put on a pair of earmuffs from the winter stock to block the worst of the noise, and made a sign for the front window.

Special Today!
20 percent off all German designers
85 percent off if you get the polkas to stop

Pixie Dust was open, and Romeo craved dark beer.

Ino felt like she’d been being a bit neglectful of some of her training this week, though she hadn’t really it just felt like that and so, had decided to spend her day at Wellspring making up for that deficit.

Depending on when you came in then, that meant Ino would either be studying a scroll, experimenting with cards, or meditating.

Wellspring Arms is Open.

Andrew had stopped and gotten a large hot chocolate on his way to work.  Sure, it still wasn't perfect hot chocolate weather, but there was a slight crispness to the air this morning that had made him want it.

He propped the front door open and pulled a chair up to sit next to it, just inside the shop.  Rearranging the frogspawn jelly could wait.

The Magic Box was opened!

Amber was in a great mood when she came into work. She smiled and waved at Apu as she settled behind the counter with her script. She had to get in some study time and in between customers she could manage it.

Munching on Pop Rocks, she was totally ready for her day.

After stretching his muscles and going a quick round with a punching bag (the bag lost), Tyler settled on a mat cross-legged to wait for Anemone.

Whether he was meditating or sleeping was open for debate.

[OOC: Open gym, dudes.]

The past few weeks of work were finally coming to a head, and Charlotte was both nervous and excited and getting herself worked up into a frenzy with making sure everything was perfect. She couldn't help feeling an overwhelming sense of satisfaction with the exhibit, though. The turnout wasn't huge, but nicely manageable and thankfully not small by any measure. Some of the work was a bit amateurish, but she had to admit to being pretty blown away by a few of the others.

By the time eight o'clock rolled around and the doors were open, the gallery was set up in a display of the pieces by artist, and the usual spread of treats and drinks were available in another area of the room. Charlotte, dressed in a vibrant red, milled around the gallery to make sure everything was in order and all the guests were enjoying the exhibit. She was also keeping an eye out for the artists of certain pieces, since she was very eager to potentially meet them.

The Community Showcase Exhibit was open!

[[ or will be, once I get the very extensive OCD up! It's up! Enjoy! ]]

"Are you sure, Ralph?" Dale persisted. "You look a little blue. Now I know it's not standard operating procedure but you would be amazed what a small brotherly hug could do to help.

Ralph boggled at Dale for a moment and decided that it was just best if he went on patrol.

"Offer is still open if you want it!" Dale called after him.

Jeff was a busy little bee behind the desk today.

He had a sheet of paper in front of him.

And he was dancing. While being seated, mind, but it definitely had the air of dancing.

Penelope walked into the bar tonight to find the band playng some Johnny Cash.

...

It was odd. But after ten minutes she found herself humming along with words she didn't even know.

Tino set a glass of beer in front of her and after another ten minutes, Penelope was almost giddy.

Another day, another snippet of script to work on. At least he was getting good amounts of practicing in.

Fiyero flipped the page of his playbook and glanced up from the front desk now and again. He didn't want any customers to go without, after all. He hummed while he read, something low and probably from his school days at Shiz.

Karal had woken early this morning, well before sunrise, and after saying the Dawn Rites had wandered down into town.

A pot of tea and a comfortable seat by the window, Altra curled next to him with a belly full of cream, was a pleasant way to while away the time until he had to go and open the library. He had deliberately set aside everything that had been filling his thoughts over the past week, and was simply enjoying the morning.

[ooc: Karal is waiting for someone, though he doesn't yet know it, but the Perk is open for your perkly or priestly needs.]

It was Wednesday, and Dinah and Alice were at Groovy Tunes, cheerfully searching through the Fs.

Well. Perhaps Dinah was napping in a convenient sunbeam, and only Alice was sorting through the Fs. One can't be too sure with these things.

Either way, Groovy Tunes was open.

It was time to go.

Cat stared up at him. Those animals seemed good at figuring out when you were about to disappear.

"Won't be back this time," he told her.

Cat gave a noise of disapproval.

"You could tag along though," he said, without much hesitation. "Heaven is full of tuna." Well, if you wanted it.

Cat seemed to seriously consider this option and started to clean her belly.

[This is Gabriel's goodbye post! The church is open.]

Naomi was on time for her shift, making sure that everything was set up properly before she opened. Once she had everything ready and she was waiting in case anyone needed her for something, she sat down with some paper and some art supplies to do some work on her election campaign posters.

Stark Industries is open.
