Toby didn't need the extra money now that he had no boyfriend to spend it on, but he was more than happy to head into work for an extra day just to hang out with people and maybe find himself something nice to wear for his co-TA. Dude, who knew Ender was into dudes?

He set to work straightening the fancy, pretty, formal dresses that were still right up front. He paused when he got to the handsome tuxes and suits, wondering if he needed something new for this dance. Maybe just new shoes.

Toby was available for anyone's prom-dressing needs!

[Ooooopen if slow as molasses until 4pm EST]

Hoshi was a little distracted with preparations for homecoming and finding stuff she could bake for next week's bake sale fund raiser. She might have forgotten to set up the specials board. But she was definitely around the lobby, if you could catch her.

[No OCD, and I'll be AFK most of the morning.]

It was the last day of the exhibit, so Eve made a longer check of it than usual before settling behind the reception desk.

She was gleeing about Homecoming. What? She could be such a girl sometimes.

[Wait for the OCD is up!]

Helen was very excited to be working alone at the Gig. She'd been showing up most mornings to help with mucking out the stalls and this, but Rosie'd asked her if she'd be interested in running it on Thursdays and she'd been glad to agree.

She was careful to keep a good eye and ear out for customers, but most of her time was spent with the horses.

[OCD free. Info on the Gig is here.

Thursday morning found Cable still thoughtful about world politics.

Being Cable, that made for pretty much every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday-- well, you get the point. He was making a few shady calls, but for the moment, any travel plans were off the consideration list.

Deadpool was poking at the practice swords he had mysteriously procured. All he needed now was a ponytailed kid and this show could get started.

In the meantime... there was an elliptical machine with his name on it. Ooo! and maybe he could try that one music video on the treadmills! the possibilities were ENDLESS.

[[Waiting for the one with the wolf tail hairstyle, but open before!]]

So . . . Francine did have a date for Homecoming. And as a result, Katchoo was out another radio.

Damn art supplies and cigarettes costing money -- if not for that, she'd be on the roof or in the rec room, channeling her sulking irritation sulking into canvas or paper. Instead, Katchoo was out on the front step of the store again today, music blasting from inside and her usual pack of cigarettes and lighter on the steps beside her as she experimented with charcoal, heavy, angry swaths of black dashed across the paper. And then her fingers. And her lighter. And her cigarette pack.

Messy, but cathartic.

[OOC: OCD-free and open, but likely SP as omgbusywhy.]

One of these days, Cal might use his time at work to do something interesting or productive.

Today was not one of those days. When he wasn't just sitting back and reading, he was working on a letter to his brother. He was thinking of sending on out to Tessie as well, but stopped, not because he didn't know what to say, he just thought his brother could handle grease stains on paper but it just seemed rude to have them on a letter to the woman who birthed you.

It was a good distraction from admitting that he might actually be somewhat enthusiastic about homecoming tomorrow.

Jamie decided that with the dance fast approaching he should do what he could to help the students of Fandom High. So for once he decided to run a special:

Today's Special
Afraid your dress is too skanky slutty?

Frank opinions! $1.00!

Today's Squishy Flavors: Cleavage, Hemline and Grape Judas

[No OCD though distractions are very much welcomed.]

Tony was looking through the theatre for tables and such to use for the bake sale next week. He couldn't set up until after Tuesday's rehearsal, but he wanted to know what they had.

Tonight, Robin had brought her laptop and was researching.

And by researching, one could clearly interpret that to mean "online shopping." Because clearly her credit card hadn't taken enough of a hit with her Homecoming dress and shoes.

[I'm reeeeeeally slow tonight, for selfish, DVDS-arrived-inna-mail reasons. Mod Tino for speedy service.]
