Although Nathan's mind was still set on the letter he was writing Irene, Tether's needs had come to the forefront pretty obviously, and so Nathan found himself up in the early morning hours. The dog went about his business, sniffing at the roots of trees and bounding around the pond to take stock of the ducks.

Nathan, on the other hand, was still thinking. He stood thoughtfully in the grass, watching Tether, his long coat pulled tight around his frame. He almost missed snow.

He was just going to turn a blind eye to the dog digging a hole somewhere over there. Tether probably missed snow, too.

Hurley opened up the shop today, happy as a clam.

Assuming clams are actually happy. That saying has to come from somewhere, right?

The music he played today was a mix of Gipsy Kings, Los Lobos, and Tito & Tarantula.

He totally danced a bit behind the counter, when he thought no one was watching.

Groovy Tunes was Open.

[ooc: OCD first, please. Open!]

Turtle was neither sick today or engaged in other, wedding-type activities, so she was pretty glad to just be at the store for a regular old shift. It might turn out well for her employees, too, that she was feeling pretty good, because she was working on budgeting for Christmas Holiday Bonuses behind the counter today.

Rosie was probably getting accustomed to being a red panda so well at this point that Minsc figured she hardly needed his help at the Gig anymore, but it was still nice to offer it, and so there he and Boo were, keeping her company and doing what they could around the place that would be much easier for a very large man and his hamster than a small little red panda thingy.

And it gave him a chance to tell the horses all sorts of stories about his adventures. "...and so then Xan says, 'No, my other flaming sword!'"

Well, Minsc thought it was funny.

[[ open! and have an Gig info post, too. ]]

Toby was cold without his coat.

The mittens were not helping with the chill as much as he'd hoped. He was going to have to suck it up and put a shirt on.

Wearing clothing made work so much less fun.

Robin opened the shop, and after getting everything squared away, he arranged the loose action figures into a reenactment of Master of the Bracelets scenes.

Welcome to the Android's Dungeon.

The ballroom was decorated old-school Vegas style. There were areas set up for roulette, craps, slots, and card games. There was a dance floor for anyone so inclined, as well as places to sit and talk.

The food was some of Gunther's finest with birthday cake for dessert.

Blair Waldorf was 17 now, and she was celebrating in style.
