Johnny glared at the kitchen staff when he came into work. He didn't want to deal with them today because he wasn't in a dealing sort of mood. He was damn cranky. Things weren't working and it was starting to get to him. Damn.

Anyone overly bothered him today, he'd just have to set them on fire. Or something.

Today's Special

Ino kinda wished she had her crown today; it had let her be happy yesterday, but thanks to the fact that she started work here before Covent Gardens even opened... well. She sighed a bit, going about her sweeping, and taking care of her plants, and making sure the store was in order.

Then she flopped down in Cable-san’s chair and settled in to meditate. Or something.

Wellspring Arms is Open.

Sarah opened the shop early and set to work ... well, cleaning out the back room.

For real. Sorting through back issues to keep or discard, sweeping out the corners, throwing out promos from movies that had flopped three seasons ago.

It was pretty grimy in there, and her face was smudged when she emerged. She suspected she needed to introduce some of her employees to the wonders of Windex.

[OOC: Open store, no OCD!]

Claire was a little grumpy when she got to the store that morning. She'd tried to replicate certain things from the weekend before she got out of bed, and nothing felt quite right and she wondered if she was just a failure at ... you know. Which was an insanely depressing thought.

The store was open, though, and Claire sat on the floor to arrange a display of vintage baby dolls. Some of them had hacked-up hair or crayon make-up; Claire made sure those got the best clothes and a prominent place in the display.

[OOC: Open store, no OCD. I AM PREDICTABLE.]

It was a very thoughtful Amber at work today. In fact she was in la la land most the time, staring here or there, totally lost in her own musings. How she managed to set up a beach display was anyone's guess.

The troopers in the station were watching Dale carefully today. Instead of his usual chatty, cheerful, talk your ears off type of mood, Dale was quiet, reserved, and spending most of the time in his office.

But what really worried them?

Dale was drinking decaf.

Toby was having an oddly sexless week, not being in the mood at all whatsoever. Sigh He'd written some amazing horrorscopes really fast the night before and was feeling confident that they would help someone, should anyone follow his advice.

Looking over some Spring Break-themed merchandise, Toby sang along with the overhead music he'd selected and felt the distinct urge to do some clay sculpture...

"I long to see the sunliiiiiiiiight in your haaaaaaair
And tell you time and time again how much I caaaaare
Sometimes I feel my heart will overfloooooooow
Helloooo, I've just got to let you knooooow

'Cause I woooonder where you are
And I wonder whaaaaat you doooo
Are you somewhere feeling lonely, or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win yooooooouuuuur heart
For I haven't goooooooooooooot a clue
But let me start by saying, I love you...
"

Toby figured he could so make a clay molding of Kevin's manhood from memory, just FYI.

[Pixie Dust open as I am home sick and booored and a little drugged and insane but there is no OCD as that is a trend]

Liir slipped into work, smiling and even... yes, skipping. He had a tendency to it, when in especially good moods, and he didn't give half a damn what anyone thought about it. Joy was to be savored when one had it.

The kitchen was greeted and the specials were put up and Liir, trotting along excitedly, got right to work

Even if pummeling a bag held little challenge, it was still necessary as hell after Ronon's monthly call to Walter. Frustration with the lack of information on the missing members of his team was nearing a breaking point for the Satedan.

This week certainly wasn't helping him any.

So there was Ronon, beating the ever-loving shit out of a heavy bag, his dreads flying as he leaped in the air to send a punch down from above with a warrior yell. There was no half-assing the attack; he poured his frustrations into every hit, never pausing until the bag gave out, ripping open and spilling its guts on the mat.

He snarled and wrung out his arms, furious that the bag couldn't take more.

Because it was the bag's fault, yes.

Alice was relieved that Dinah was well, and somewhat in a lighter mood than she'd been last week. Some strangely serious underpinnings, but perhaps those were normal. She'd found her way to the Ms, and music that seemed to have open spaces to get lost in. Quite appropriate for her mood.

Jeff didn't know what to do. Jeff was terrified. Jeff was seeing his worst nightmares come true.

The Melty Man. After two days, he was starting to be sure the Melty Man had come and would never leave again. Maybe. Maybe. Oh god, he hoped.

When he got to the hotel, he scribbled the board full of apocalyptic warnings - The Ende Thymes Are Nigh! Cover your pants! - before taking his terrified arse to the chair behind the desk.

Um. The band was super... wiggly and hip moving tonight. It was kind of grossing Penelope out so she drank beer and that seemed to make it all better.

Still... ew.

And why did they keep singing the same thing over and over again?

Uh.

When it wasn't raining, Tully was working on some things outside. When it was raining he went inside to continue working on stuff there. Things were moving along rather well.

The door to the house was closed to keep out the weather, but he'd posted a sign saying

"THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED, COME ON IN!"

From inside could be heard a mix of country, classic rock, and that strange mix in between that only Jimmy Buffet and Willy Singer could pull off.

"What? No! That's... Can you just for once be a normal parent and ask how my classes are going?" Ichigo shouted down the telephone. It was pretty useless since his father was shouting right back at him and wasn't listening to a word of what he was saying. Ichigo didn't care, the shouting at least made him feel better.

Jeremy watched the process sceptically until finally Ichigo got enough (no, he wasn't even going to think about what his father had suggested) and shouted a "bye" before he hung up. He didn't envy Karin and Yuzu one bit.
