The walk in the Park did her a world of good. Upon entering the shop she checked her new hat on the mirror and smiled. Yes, this look did fit nicely on her. It wasn't as ostentatious as her old hats and headpieces but one does mellow with age.

Now Hiring, please inquire inside!

. . . no, Katchoo hadn't camped out in the store overnight after all, though she was half considering Jaina's offer over the radio. And then she decided nah, camping out in the store might be a better option.

When she arrived at said store after first period and started straightening up a display of mineral spirits cans with far more noise than necessary, at least she couldn't say she'd had no warning about that fashion class. But man, whenever she figured out who was responsible for that paperwork error . . .

Well. Anyway. She'd be out on the porch a lot during her shift today.

Oh, like that was new.

[OOC: Show me how pretty the OCD-free world is.]

Jennifer got into work, right after her morning class.

...Maybe she should have told her boss she'd be a little late for the course of the semester. That had slipped Jen's mind, since she'd been focusing so much on her trip home this weekend.

But that didn't mean she was working any bit less hard today. Though she'd help anyone who would come through the doors.

[ooc: Open and OCD free. My usual 'Oh god, I wish I had internet access at my soul crushing job' SP until I get off work caveat applies.]

Not having heard from George after Tuesday night's encounter, Dinah left him a message, and started sorting through more seed packets for Reno.

Halfway through the day, she texted Merlin: Need to talk. Where are you going to be?

And then she remembered about singing at Caritas tonight with Edward. Ohhhh, boy.

When Ben showed up at the bar, Tino gave him a sign to put up. It said 'Party -->'

"Really?" Ben asked as he put the sign up by the back room. "Just 'party' and an arrow?" Tino shrugged. "It just seems kind of lackluster, you know?" Tino shrugged again. "At least break out a balloon or something. What kind of party is it?" Tino shrugged and possibly mumbled something about a TV. "I changed my mind. The sign doesn't need a balloon. You do. I'm getting you one next week, Mister Grumpy."

[OOC: Post is up early by request. I won't be around at all until evening, so if you want to talk to Ben, be prepared to wait a bit. Otherwise, mod Tino or just go straight to the party in the back room once the party OCD is up.

I am around now!]

Hoshi made her way into the lobby, past a gawking Gunther, and went straight to the front desk. "Whatever you're about to say, I don't want to hear it," she said. "Just get me some miso soup."

Hopefully she could get over the hangover, because Hoshi still had a workshop to get to. Then, she could go back to her alcove and crash. Except now that she thought about it, there had been a message last night about a TV-watching party. Hoshi went to check her messages, and found a whole bunch of outgoing calls from late last night that she didn't remember making. "Oh shoot."

Usually when people found Ghanima at the gym, they could expect to see a warning of live fire, weapons flashing, or a grueling training drill of some sort.

Generally speaking, they didn't expect to see her with piles of rubber balls not dirty around her feet, tossing a soccer ball in the air with an evil smile on her face.

"So, are you ready?"

[Looking for the magician-apprentice, but open gym is open.]

There was a party tonight!

Maron was a bit... dubious... about it being in a bar, but surely they wouldn’t let anyone under-aged drink and if that was where it was being held, well, it wouldn’t be so bad if she stepped in for at least a little while, right?

Sure! Either way, Maron thinking about that in between actually working. Because work was, in fact, more important while she was at work. Ish. Whatever! Maron was in a good mood!

It was Algren's first day working at the Wellspring, and he was busying himself by familiarizing himself with the layout of the store. Ammunition here, cleaning supplies there, guns he wasn't about to let anyone actually buy over there...

It occurred to him that he seemed to be well-suited for positions that involved him not exactly selling the merchandise that he was supposed to be hawking. Really, the only thing that could possibly make him better at this particular role would be an attempt at some gaudy demonstration involving a sharp-shooting show and a miniature scale battlefield.

But if a bandstand ever came into play, he was quitting. Honestly.

[Wellspring is open!]

Morgan was starting to wonder if he shouldn't get out sometime tonight. After all, he'd been working on the house and his casework for what seemed like, hell, seemed like an eternity. He needed a beer, some dancing, a bit of music...

Maybe meet that Constable Day from the police station, if he was lucky.

That said, he was currently in his store, half working on BAU business with his laptop behind the counter and half sketching out the designs for the shelving unit he was going to make for that Ino girl. And he still had to get clearance for the shooting range and oh yeah, drag Reid there. That boy better have remembered to bring his sidearm or Morgan was going to give him trouble.

Well, whenever the cat came out of the bag, anyway.

It was your ordinary summer weekday. Until it wasn't.

A bright, blinding flash of light appeared in an alley way, sweeping over the walls and dumpsters and pavement and increasing in intensity until it just might burn the eyes out of your skull reached a brightness your average human would shudder to look at, then it abruptly vanished.

In its wake it left a man in a rumpled suit and a tan trench coat, tie all but undone, hems tattered and flapping like wings in the slight breeze. He spun in place, fists raised as if in the midst of doing battle, only to freeze, look around, then look straight up at the sky. He stood there, absolutely still save for the wind in his trench coat and disorderly hair, for nearly two full minutes, then dropped his fists and frowned.

He was Castiel, an angel of the Lord. And he had absolutely no idea where he was, how he got there, or why he couldn't contact his brethren.

This had never happened to Castiel before. It was . . . disturbing.

[ooc: And the angel is in da hooooooouuuuuuuse! Well, in the town, at least. Open!]

Guilty As Charged was open, the music was playing, but Jon had his head buried in a book. Several books, actually. They were stacked up on the counter, and all of them were by the same author, one Richard Castle.

Don't expect too much conversation from him.

If you need anything just yell and she'll be along. Except for the late lunch she'll be taking so she can make her tactics class.

Any day now! Any day now her CD would be in and she'd have an excuse to go see Ellie and she'd, well... she'd have officially produced her first CD!

In the meantime, she'd just straighten everything she could find at Groovy Tunes to keep herself occupied. And play loud music, though that was pretty much a given anyway.

So, as it turned out, walking wasn't really Castiel's greatest skill.

Despite the fact that Chuck Bass had given him some very simple directions and the fact that the school he was intending to walk towards was castle-shaped and on top of hill, he still managed to get himself lost in Fandom.

By the time the sun set, he'd come to the helpful conclusion that Lucifer clearly hadn't ended the world yet, so odds were good that he wasn't going to in the next few hours or so (or that if he were, there wasn't a whole lot Castiel and Dean could do about it, anyway), and that perhaps a better knowledge of this somewhat otherworldly little island would be beneficial.

That's what he was telling himself anyway. He wasn't lost, he was gathering information.

If his host had a vote, Jimmy might have pointed out that a bed and some sleep might be a good idea. As it was, Castiel wasn't really 100% aware of his own host body's need for such things and thus, didn't need them, so he was all set to spend the whole night just wandering aimlessly through the town.

[ooc: Mostly just to get away with not having Cass actually end up trying to search the school for a Winchester, but also open.]

Irulan enjoyed the idea of walking around Fandom and with her new hat firmly on her head she began the walk. Her feet eventually led her to the Perk. She entered thePerk and ordered tea. She occupied one of the tables nearest the window and proceeded to people watch.
