One mostly sleepless night for hapless clinic workers and volunteers? Check.

Rows and rows of sleeping people? Check and double check. The sleeping people were, in Ino's not-so-humble opinion, really freakin' creepy thank you ever so very much. She didn't like the numbers, at all. Or the fact that nothing yet could be done to wake them up.

(And, maybe okay, she also didn't like the fact that she hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, shut up.)

That didn't stop the nurses, volunteers, and coffee makers from chugging on bravely in the face of all that unrelenting sleep and making sure their patients were properly taken care off.

[Wait for the OCD or I will sic Ino on you OCD is up, up and away!

Reese heard the announcement and hurried to the station. Who the hell ever heard of a sleeping plague? But when she reached the station the sight before her made her pause. Half the troopers were slumped, half were manning the phones and the others were just... standing around.

"Why the hell are you people just standing around?" Reese snapped. If there's one thing she hated it was people standing around when there was work to be done. She pointed to one group, "You, get a squad out. There are people on the streets half asleep bring 'em to the Town Hall. People not manning the phones or goin' out raise your hand!"

There were a lot of raised hands.

"Congratulations, you're all drafted. Get your sleeping buddies to the Town Hall." They continued to stare at her Reese glared. "NOW."

Fred only knew that whatever was going on, he couldn't punch it in the face. That pretty much meant he was useless for helping deal with it.

So instead, he was eating a six-scoop banana split sundae. Just because he had nothing better to do.

Oh, Fred J. Dukes. He needed professional help, that man.

[ooc: Very open.]

The hall was still full of sleepers.

Luckily, there was plenty of food, coffee, and other drinks around to keep the doctors, nurses, volunteers and worried folk awake and wired and ready to spot any changes in condition.

For her part, Ino dreamt of sleep. But not the creepy sort of sleep. She could live without that, thanks. Unfortunately, she didn't have the time to sleep right now and there was no point in complaining.

There was work to be done, after all.

[Wait for the OCD or I will sic tired grumpy Ino on you. OCD is up, hurrah!]

Marion came into work kinda down because of the crap going down in town. Seemed like she'd never get away from the weird stuff. It was fine when it was goofy but the serious stuff was just plain scary.
