Annja had called Chloe and told her not to come in today. With everyone either in these weird sleeping comas or researching for a solution, it didn't seem like opening the store was a priority.

Kyle felt that most people would be focused on the persisting disturbance and probably wouldn't need help from the Freelance Police today. But there was always a chance that something might happen while everyone was distracted. And so he made sure his weapons were ready and the phone was in reach. And, just in case nobody did need anything, he also had Sudoku.

What? They didn't have it in his galaxy. It still seemed interesting.

Ben opened up the store. He was thankful to still be awake, but he couldn't help but feel like the store was probably going to be pretty empty today.

Robin figured tonight would be busy to a ridiculous degree, given how many people were going to want to be drinking after waking up, or in celebration...or whatever. That being said, she wasn't exactly willing to have Benton out of her sight so soon after getting him back.

So they'd taken the dogs back to their apartment and tucked them in, and when they'd gotten to the bar (hand-in-hand, which caused Tino to make little gagging faces and Robin to subsequently throw a dish of peanuts at him), Robin'd set him up on a barstool where she could keep an eye on her newly-uncomatose boyfriend.

That being said, she was already checking her stock of vodka, tequila, and whiskey. There would probably be some shots being done tonight.

Chilly Boulder - Sunday Night

After making sure things were settled at Town Hall, Joan and Liir (and Makejoy, of course) snuck out and headed to Chilly Boulder for some ice cream before making their way back to the dorms.

"You know, I just realized you haven't eaten for two days. Maybe we should have gone for real food," she said.

Luke's Diner, August 3 (Monday)

It was funny -- Lacey had always prided herself on being a good civic-minded citizen back in Dog River, and making herself useful to the community. That involved everything from sponsoring community events to getting herself onto committees and organizational boards somehow, and no matter what she did someone always gave her grief for trying too hard.

This past weekend in Fandom, people had fallen asleep and gotten sent to an alternate dimension, and all Lacey could do to help was bring some food down to town hall. It wasn't trying to put together a community picnic, but she felt really, really good about that.

Although without Oscar Leroy grumping about it, it still felt slightly off. Oh well.
