Um, of course Deadpool was there bright and... not so early. He was going to play with swords and there was gonna be some crazy fun times, man.

Maybe not, like, Savage Land, running around with a zombie head of himself from an alternate timeline's future while hitting on a hot chick, but it'd still be pretty fun. And his ass would look infinitely better here. Damn artists.

But he digressed. FIGHTY!

Hurley opened up Groovy Tunes. He was feeling pretty good, even though Parents Weekend was looming on the horizon. He'd managed to nip that one again, thanks to Diego. At least, he thought so.

Today's CD mix was Daft Punk and Kylie Minogue.

Hurley wasn't sure how that happened.

It was Jean's first day of work, so of course she was there on time and cheerful and omg someone gave her coffee. The kind with more cream and sugar and those flavor shots that cause people to bounce off the walls.

But she was totally ready to help people meditate nevertheless!

Muppet Comics!! Robin was so surprised when he saw them that he shrieked. This was fantastic! He made sure to put them on prominent display, then settled down to read the "Muppets' Master of the Bracelets" comic.

When the taxi driver pulled up to the Causeway and popped open the door, Allie gave him a skeptical look.  "This is the place?"

"No cars allowed on the island, miss," the taxi driver said.  "You're on your own from here."

Allie was still skeptical, but Gales didn't get cheated by people like taxi drivers so she got out slowly, giving herself just enough time to trace a charm on the door that'd keep his taxi empty for a week if he was lying to her.  She tipped him well, possibly making up for the charm before picking up her bag and starting up the Causeway to the island.  So that was why Gran had included directions.  Usually the Aunties - and Gran especially - wouldn't be that helpful.

On the other hand, it wasn't really that hard to find the place, straight up the Causeway and to the right.  She stood outside the locked door of the store Gran had sent her to deal with as she fumbled for the keys.

The door should have creaked or something given that it was the building her dead grandma apparently left her, but it swung easily open, revealing a - room.  Stuffed with dusty boxes.  And - yo-yos.  Why the crap were there boxes of yo-yos?

Her phone rang before she stepped inside, startling Allie into answering it.  "Auntie Jane?"  ... "No, I don't know." ... "I just got here."

There was a Ratman retrospective at the theater this weekend.

Tonight's feature was the 1995 classic Ratman Always.

Eric was excited. He hadn't seen this one in theaters yet. And he also still hadn't quite worked out that he was currently living in 2009.

"So, popcorn and Snocaps are a must," he said to Ellie. "What do you want?"

[Eric's here with Ellie, but you are welcome to use this post for your own movie going needs.]

The squirrels, who kept track of such things, had informed Jack that today was, in fact, International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Being that he, did, indeed, talk like a pirate, he found this to be a most satisfactory reason to get nicely sloshed. Well, that and almost crashing into the rocks last night as he was sailing and accidentally followed the lighthouse's light as it illuminated the school. Oops.

"Drinks all around!" he cried, flinging open the door to the radio station.

If you could convince him that you sounded pirate-y, he'd give you a mug of grog. Just don't blame the squirrels if you couldn't feel your face after drinking it.

Running late for her shift (sometimes being a patrolling superhero was tough), Adora had completely forgotten to stay in her alter ego for the evening.

Tino gave her a funny look since her boobs weren't hanging out and she tried to interact by saying, "Why are you wearing an eye patch, friend? Were you injured?"

Rolling his eyes at her lack of knowledge Tino simply said, "Argh!"

After asking Apu to order in Elvis memorabilia for Hayley, Kyle was instructed to mop the floors. He mopped those floors so damned well that even Apu couldn't complain. That was some mighty fine mopping.
