By the time Jenny got to work on Friday, she'd just about decided to chuck this school business and go live on the beach somewhere. She'd heard Bora Bora was very nice this time of year.

Winter. Who thought that was a good idea?

She opened the shop, took a shot to warm herself, and stuck the NOW HIRING sign in the window. Pixie Dust was open.

Lily strolled in twenty minutes late to work, bag from JGOB in hand. And if she took another ten minutes to have breakfast before getting to doing any actual work, well, what was anyone gonna do about it?

Chloe was at work early, straightening up stacks and fiddling with displays. After she thought everything looked suitably cleaned up and straight, she moved behind the counter with a couple of the comic books that had looked most interesting. She planned to purchase them and send them to Derek and Simon when she sent Tori the shirt she had purchased her.

She missed them, missed them so much.

Shaking off the melancholy, she smiled as she flipped the sign and unlocked the door.

After taking a break for a couple of weeks, Harper was back to work with lots of "new" fashions. There were dresses for the mannequins in the window, a display of bags made from recycled materials, and unique jewelry.

There was a new sign for the window, too.

Of course, with the universe's grand sense of timing, one student had just graduated from working with the balls when another was just getting ready to start. Her grandmother would be appalled at Ghanima's ineffiencet training cycles, but it was likely lucky for everyone that Ghanima was not Jessica.

"Ready?" she asked, bouncing a ball as she looked at the younger girl. "Remember, just move and be, let your mind affect your reality. We can use them for powers practice later."

Today, Price was taking inventory of the ammunition. He was sadly reminded of his younger days dealing with supply duty. But, it kept his mind active and keen. Not to mention he was learning a few things as he went.

It felt like ages since Liir had opened up the bookstore; the holidays threw everything off, after all. But it was good to come in early, clean the place up a little bit, make sure everything was arranged properly. The tea was put out, the cookies placed just so.

By the time he settled behind the counter to work on a few notes from his practices, things felt almost like they were going back to normal.
