Atlas Gym - Tuesday

Rose was in the midst of a serious if mental debate as she worked. For one thing, it distracted her from scrubbing all the stupid corners of the gym where little bits of gross dried mud and jello had ended up. Not to mention the little slicks of oil drops on the wall.

So yes, on one hand, there was really annoying stupid cleaning to be done, but on the other hand, the reason for the intensive clean had given her the opportunity to talk Dimitri into skipping out of Fight Club and finding their way back to his apartment. Which was way more amazing than she'd ever imagined.

The debate wasn't anywhere near being resolved, especially as Rose turned her attention to the the pile of mats that were next on the list to washed down. She made a face then refilled her bucket of soapy water to start on that project. It was amazing how the one time she'd've liked to see Jessi and make her do some of the chores, the annoying pink spandex girl was nowhere to be found. Typical.

Spock arrived at work promptly, as usual, on Tuesday and set about performing his duties in his usual efficient fashion. The most variable worker, he was not, but there was something to be said for reliability.

Stark Industries is open.

Jill opened up the gallery on Tuesday and got everything set up properly, then engaged in a spot of cleaning before engaging in a spot (okay, more than a spot) of Spider Solitaire.

Don't tell the boss lady.

Book Haven, Tuesday

She couldn't help, today, but be reminded of her conversation with Chloe as Hinata swept the store before setting out tea. It was hard to avoid the idea of romance in a book store, after all.

Even if the idea of trying amused her.

Studying was more her sort of reading today, though, so that worked out—rather nicely in her opinion as Yei wrecked havoc amongst the dust bunnies.

Book Haven is Open.

Ino did not particularly feel like singing today. She had the music turned up anyway and was singing because, if nothing else, it was an excellent distraction from—everything.

Well, sort of.

The fact that she'd brought was she was dubbing her 'Jenova notebook' to work with her didn't really help the avoidance factor but… it did, at the same time. It made sense in her head. Besides, it gave her something to do while contemplating going to the reserves or not.

Zack would be there. Which—well.

But Reno would be there. Which was a different story.

Augh.

Today was free sample day at T&C.

Which meant Didi had sliced up a couple of blocks of cheese, opened a couple boxes of crackers, nuked some mini half-smokes and set out fancy mustards to dip them into, and even broken into the Easter candy. She'd also set out a tray of dixie cups full of assorted Squishy flavors.

It was a little bit like having a party! A small, strange party under fluorescent lights. Didi could groove on that.

Emo empath was emo. It had been hard to return to Azarath the night before, and harder still to see her mother and be told she was not welcome in her former home. On the other hand, for the first time in her life she had heard her mother admit that she loved her, even if she hadn't said it directly.

'Dite's Decadent Delights was open, but Raven was just a little distracted. She may have abandoned the emo just for a little bit to look up just what "phone sex" was supposed to be. And blush. A lot.

Mary was busy picking out paint colors for the lobby, much to Gunther's dismay. She kept popping into the kitchen and making him look at color swatches. Mary was rather amused to see how annoyed he was getting, because she knew the next step was directing Gunther to move furniture.

The pepper shaker and cheese grater had gotten into an argument and were now sulking at opposite ends of the restaurant. That left poor Lion-o to go back and forth, carrying messages between them for a while. Finally, he just gave up and claimed a table the middle of the restaurant for himself.

A while ago, Sheriff Vimes had charged Gibbs with the responsibility of discovering the reason for why so many "strange things" happened in Fandom.

Right now Gibbs was going through all the files of some of the bigger events that had happened on the island. All of them.

It was a very big stack.

And right about now any interruption would suit him just fine.

Kris fed the animals and groomed them. Afterward, she decided to take a break from cows and chickens by taking Duke out on one of the trails. At least Duke didn't try to kick her. She was almost certain the cows were doing that on purpose.

The Gig was open.

For a change of pace, Jonothon decided that he was going to turn the radio on to get a feel for what people his age were listening to, these days.

... After Bad Romance came on for the eighth time in a two-hour period, the radio was turned back off.

It was a Pearl Jam day at Groovy Tunes. Again.

Shock.

[OCD-Free and open, as per usual. Based on a true story.]

Tim's absent tapping of a pen on the counter had transformed into a two pen drum solo. The counter, a comics box, the register, and other objects became things to make different drum sounds on.

Oz was trying out this Facebook thing. Yes he knew he was late to the party, shut up. Mostly he was searching for old friends. Surely Willow would be on this thing right?

Coyote Medicine is open.

Chuck came back from New York just in time to cover Robin's shift at Caritas. He really wasn't expecting that. Oh well, he was planning to spend here tonight anyway. His meeting today had gone very well and he was one step closer to having a den of iniquity of his very own. Every teenage boy's dream.

[I'll be MIA during Lost but otherwise around]
