The Gig, Sunday

Firekeeper had been grooming the horses when a rain of oranges came tumbling down from the loft above her. Climbing up to investigate was foiled by a similar barrage of lemons.

With a shrug, Firekeeper and Blind Seer went to go refill the horses' feed...only to find limes nestled in amongst the haybales.

Right.

Chores done, Firekeeper grabbed some of the fruit and then headed outside with Blind Seer.

The Gig was open, and definitely not in danger of contracting scurvy.

[ooc: No OCD. I... woke up really wanting a glass of orange juice.]

Atlas Gym | Sunday

Jessi so hated that her lack of obvious social life meant everyone always made her cover their shifts. Whatever, it was the third day of this crap and no one was around and she was going to hang out in the office. Maybe even read other people's emails. So there!

...huh, it seemed there was a problem with her key. It didn't take long for Jessi to remember where the spare gym keys lived in the utility room and she skipped back there to dig in the drawers. Instead of a key, all Jessi found was a note:

You're still not allowed in my office. -D

Atlas was open, but the crabby blonde in spandex at the front desk wasn't going to be very helpful unless you were a locksmith.

There was only so much camping, even in cabins (which did make it more bearable), that she could take. Too many people around, too many noises and an absolute lack of true privacy...

Which would be why Rosalind, when she'd felt her temper starting to fall to pieces just by waking up in the cabins, had prudently relocated herself to the Perk and planned to stay there for a good few hours. She did enjoy their coffee and the change in scenery was enough to soothe her mood as she tapped away on her laptop, writing out the past week so that Tseng didn't think she'd died.

Besides, the Perk was a better place to consider a few things that deserved further consideration.

[Open as an open place!]

Biff had brought a book with him today on his shift--specifically, the New Testament. Which he was editing. In red pen.

While grumbling about what assholes the Apostles were.

Wellspring Arms was open, and decidedly un-Zen today.

[OOC: The OCD has fled Biff's temper tantrum.]

With Paige having thankfully agreed to watch Nicky for an hour or two, Cally went to do something she'd not done in such a long time.

She sat down at Chilly Boulder, armed with a spoon, her prize in front of her. It wasn't extravagant, just a simple hot fudge sundae with walnuts and a cherry on top. But when she placed that first spoonful against her tongue, the shock of fresh cream and sugar and chocolate just made her let out the teeniest of whimpers.

Gods, life in the Fleet would have been almost tolerable, if only they'd had hot fudge sundaes, she thought.

She'd bring home dinner for Paige and Nicky after this. But for now, she was having her dessert first.

[ooc: Very open, if you'd like to interrupt!]

Caritas | Sunday

When Clark arrived and greeted his co-bartender, Tino sloshed a half full blended drink and declared his end of the bar a frosty drink zone. After some staring and a rejected offer to help Tino with the umbrella stuck in his hair, Clark gave up and moved down to man the other end.

So, one half of the bar had a clothed bartender who was willing to actually make drinks while the other half had a half-drunk, shirtless bartender who was balancing plastic knives on his upper lip.

Caritas was open.
