Kay stood outside the post office examining the building. All the arrangements had been made before Kay had even left New York so really it was just making sure that all the details were in place.

Jay had even been kind enough to have his old crew transferred to the Fandom Post Office so it would be an easy transition for Kay.

Of course the weapons cache and other equipment will have to wait but for now Kay had everything exactly where he wanted.

[Open though SP until Thursday morning.]

As Bod's restlessness had grown, he'd noticed he'd taken to spending more time in the graveyard. Whether it was just walks through the aisles of headstones or longer periods spent brooding in one particular area, being in the graveyard made his life seem a little less chaotic.

Despite the cold, Bod was in the graveyard today. In fact, he was actually laying flat on his back on the ground, holding a book up and reading it leisurely. It was the time first time he'd had enough focus to read in a few days and he was taking advantage.

He hadn't thought about how it looked to be laying down in the middle of the graveyard and he really didn't care either. He wasn't dead. He was just taking advantage of the environment to relax. That's all.

[Post is open if you're one to hang out in a graveyard]

Ellie was, once again, working on a movie review for the newspaper when she had free time. Last week, she had writer's block. Today, she knew exactly what she wanted to write. It helped that she had plenty of caffeine.

There was more Super Bowl inventory to add to the shelves this week. Lindsay couldn't wait for it to be over. Hockey was better than football, anyway.

Tara loved her first shift of the month; it meant there was a new box of books that had arrived from the shop's suppliers. Since it was otherwise a quiet day, there was no reason for Tara not to get her geek on.

She was even humming as she unpacked. Things weren't -- entirely -- back to normal, and there were plenty of worries in the back of her mind. But for the moment, she was happy.

[OOC: Open shop comes complete with geeky witch, order yours today.]

Cally was alone in the shop today, Nana having been bribed to remain in the dorms with a combination of fried pork rinds and a conveniently-placed pile of clean laundry to flop onto. Now that she was perched behind the counter flipping through Groundhogs: Woodchucks, Marmots, and Whistle Pigs (Wild World of Animals) , though, she wondered if she'd made a mistake there.

The company, even if it consisted only of snuffling, soulful requests for more pieces of crispy pig, and a few wheezy sighs, would have been a welcome distraction from brooding herself into a headache thinking about telepathic ethics and how to protect oneself from the lack thereof.

Strokes of Genius was open, if overly thoughtful today.

Wallace wasn't doing much during his shift tonight. Just sitting around in front of his laptop, getting into arguments with people on the internet about who deserved Oscars. Like you do during this time of the year.

[I'm supposed to be writing a paper right now, so if you want speediness then Tino is your best bet]

Millie was conspicuously absent from the store today. However, she had set a spell to let her know if anyone came in and needed assistance.

In the meantime she was upstairs snuggled under her covers with Proudfoot curled up on the end of the bed watching her sleep.

They had a job, and one where they could work on their own projects when the shop wasn't busy. That meant that Sov was sitting behind the counter at Fixer-Uppers taking apart a broken radio.

No, they didn't have much of a clue what they were doing, but it might be educational. And fun. And Rikku had been encouraging, and Rikku was someone whom Sov now looked up to quite a bit.
