Lion-o had a challenge ahead of him today. Even though he brought the droid baby with him to work, it was difficult to get anything done while carrying the baby around. However, every time he put it down, the baby would start to scream and that made it even tougher for Lion-o to concentrate.

And the laughter and teasing that Lion-o was getting from the guys in the kitchen was not helping. He finally retreated to a corner booth with a burger and milkshake and tried to eat quickly while the droid baby was sleeping.

Kate was just a little late to work because she'd had to swing by the Photo Hut for a certain project she'd been inspired to start last night. Once she finally made it to the movie theater, she had to stop and take a good look at the marquee outside. She'd thought they'd be showing that new flick about hot chicks kicking ass, but apparently not.

"What the hell is that?" she asked her coworkers when she got inside. "I don't even know what the fuck that says, we can't show that!" But au contraire, she was told that was indeed what they were showing, yes. See, it was a scheme to lure people in by intriguing them with a title they couldn't immediately decipher. "Fine, whatever," Kate said, shaking her head, but still made them at least put the English title underneath the... whatever language that other one was.

Not that it would be much help; the film didn't have subtitles.

Groovy Tunes, Wednesday [3/30]

Lindsay was at the store today since it was Wednesday. Sort of. Physically she was there. Her mind was elsewhere, though. She was really concerned about her roommate right now, especially after what Rinoa had revealed to her. And now, she wasn't even on the island. Yeah, Lindsay was going to worry.

No amount of shelve restocking provided much distraction.

When Nathan wandered into the bar that evening, he was feeling a little devious. And, until someone took pity on him and visited, he was going to take out that deviousness on Tino. So, he grabbed a glass and a bottle, leaned against the counter and announced they were gonna play Truth or Dare.

Tino seemed cool with it so after a few rounds of them both picking truth, Tino finally picked dare. With a smug, sly grin, Nathan proudly told Tino what his dare would be. And that was how Tino came to pour several cheap bottles of beer down his pants.

Nathan thought he was a fucking genius.

The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Evening

Some of the music the DJ had picked in weeks past didn't bother Jessica much, even if she thought some of it was strange. But tonight she was eyeing the DJ and considering taking action. Eric had said she couldn't bite Tiny while he was on duty, but he hadn't said anything about the DJ, who, come to think of it, seemed to be a new one. The Devil's Nest had a decidedly fast turnover rate with its music employees, and tonight might be no exception.

Today, Hank was practicing his guitar in the store. He still wasn't very good at it, and although he was getting better, the store was still filled with an awful, ear-splitting racket. He'd even managed to scare the panda away temporarily.

The OCD had fled, too.
