Momoko had spent the weekend with her family for Obon, and TOTALLY lost track of time. She had been in the middle of an evening festival, snacking on a candy apple, when she realized she had a portal to Fandom Island to make in order to not miss another week of work.

It was hard to run in formal dress, no matter what tv and the movies said.

But she had made the portal and was even a bit early opening the office! If any visitors would please forgive her slight giddiness from lack of sleep, and instead focus on the pretty pretty yukata your legal clerk is still wearing as she reads through legal tomes for precedents?

And no, she's not a geisha, and she will totally roll her eyes at you for suggesting it.

The Magic Box, Monday

Alex opened up the Magic Box, a cup of coffee in one hand (was it any surprise that she loved her caffeine?) and a collection of magazines in the other. She settled in behind the counter and started in on one of her magazines.

There were cute fall fashions in there and Alex was all set to mark the pages with things she wanted.

The Gig, Monday Afternoon

Angelica had spent much of the last week buried under flowers freaked out and hiding in her room until the last of the grey scales vanished from her skin. She felt fine now, at least she hoped she was, though a trip to the clinic just to be safe might not be a bad idea. Her only consolation about the whole experience was it hadn't been just her, and it hadn't been a mutant thing.

Since she'd missed her shift at the Gig last week, today she was spoiling the horses, taking each out in turn for exercise before some apologetic grooming. Though every once in awhile she checked her arm for grey patches.
