Parents Weekend was over, things were seeming back to normal, and Annie was glad for that. Well, mostly. The StuCo race and then preparations for the weekend had taken so much of her time that she was a little bored.

So today she was trying to help pick the specials, which meant she'd invaded the kitchen and was trying things, deeming things worthy or not worthy to be on the board today. It would be easier if she wouldn't stop changing her mind.

Cabot and Associates- Tuesday

It probably shouldn't shock anyone that Hermione was feeling a little down after the weekend. She missed Ron and Harry already, and she'd be lying if she said there wasn't part of her that wondered if it might be about time to go home. But she meant what she'd told Harry. She was actually learning things from her job, things that she thought might end up being useful someday, and that kind of inspiration was something she shouldn't just leave behind.

This was easier to believe when she wasn't distracted away from all the files she was attempting to go through. Oops.

The Arms Hotel Lobby, Tuesday

Just because Parents Weekend was over didn't mean that things slowed down for the hotel. Today, Mary was busy dealing with stranded travelers while Portalocity tried to get itself together. Most of them were already unhappy with the unexpected delay. Mary felt particularly bad for the poor guy who turned up with only swim trunks and snorkel gear. She handed over a bathrobe along with his room key. "You can keep it," she told him.
