"We know that things have not been very okay lately," Dolf said. There was no better way to start a meeting than with an understatement, right? "People and places have been disappearing and nobody but us seems to remember they existed. And the causeway is being crazy, says the radio."

He wouldn't know. His own universe was still out of reach for him, and he didn't exactly spend a lot of time on the mainland - he still felt self-conscious about his English. "So we thought we should all talk, and come up with ideas." He shot Karla and Wesley an expectant look.

Karla glanced over at him and nodded, stepping forward. "The big problem is, we have no idea what's going on. We can't tell if there's some kind of pattern, if there was some kind of precipitating event, where the vanished things are going--or even if there is a where. Right now, we're dealing with a lot of suppositions and half-guesses. That's one of the reasons we called this meeting today, before people started going home for the holiday."

If anyone was able to leave, that was.

"One of the things we need is more information. Are people vanishing from your world? Who? When? What happens when objects and places vanish? Are there things that are linking the disappeared across multiverses? The more information we have, the better we'll be able to figure out what is going on. And from there, figure out how to reverse it."

"We understand that some of you may have lost people, and it might be difficult to talk about," Wesley made sure to add. "But if you're at all able, it'd be invaluable for us if you could share what you've been experiencing, both here and in your home worlds. And if you know of anything from your home or anywhere else that might be responsible for what's been happening, even if you aren't certain, that could be incredibly useful as well. It's difficult to propose any sort of a solution without an idea of what the cause is."

Hadn't stopped him from all but living in the library over the past week, though.

"So." He sat down in one of the chairs that had been set up in a huge circle. "Would anyone particularly like to start?"

There was probably supposed to be a Thanksgiving special at the Arms or something. Supposed to be because the suppliers kept getting to the parking lot in Maryland and then calling Quinn because they couldn't find the causeway.

All she could do was tell them to keep trying. .

She hoped somebody would get through before tomorrow, or Gunther was going to have to keep improvising from the pantry.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

Today's Specials: Ramen-Ham Frittata
Pesto Tuna Salad with Sundried Tomatoes

Troy was... perhaps a little bouncy today, yes, upon arriving at the Boards -- which he really needed to get around to moving into, now that the renovations were finished. But that could wait.

Because it was time for REHEARSALS!

There were pitchers of ice water set up on a table at the side of the stage, and a notebook and pencil for each member of the cast; Troy was up on stage this time, rather than in the audience, ready to work with his cast.

His cast. How awesome was that?

As promised, the area of the park near the pond had been taken over in the name of Miley coming of legal age. Okay, so she still couldn't do much unless she was secretly Canadian, but Caroline was ignoring that part.

Hopefully the flamingos didn't mind the heaters that had been brought in to keep the party-goers comfortable as they moved among the scattered hay bales draped in quilts and blankets that would pass for seating. If so, the flamingos might just get a little bold and head for the variety of country-inspired cold weather snacks and drinks covering the tables set up between the bonfire and the cleared dancing area. Just no one ask where the music was coming from unless they wanted to hear about how cordless speakers worked like it was magic. Geeky magic.

[Up early for SP as you do. Everyone's welcome to celebrate!]

Thanksgiving was Lion-o's second-favorite holiday after Halloween. Normally he looked forward to it, but this time he was worried about his inability to contact the Thundercats back home. Also, he wasn't able to find a fresh turkey in the walk-in fridge, but the staff promised him that they had an appropriate substitute. Lion-o hoped the thing tasted better than it looked.

Today's Specials
Tofu Turkey
Green Bean Casserole
Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

[Open! The OCD is busy fighting over the last turkey at the store.]

There was an untouched cup of lukewarm water with dried leaf flavour on the table in front of Myria. It had seemed to be the least offensive item offered by the shop after some very careful deliberation on the matter.

Deliberation with herself.

It was both disturbing and interesting at once to make such decisions without the consensus of the others. Should would have to bring up these gland based emotions the next time she spoke with them.

But, for now, she watched the window. Tea untouched.

Nathan wasn't paying much attention to the bar tonight. Instead, he was on the phone, cursing up a blue streak at Curtis and trying to convince his stupid ass that he did know a Kelly and a Barry and an Alisha (new since last night). Curtis insisted it was just Nathan and himself in community payback.

And then Nathan started yelling at him about how this wasn't a nice thing to do and how much of a dickhead he was and how he hated his stupid stuck up hair. Tino sighed from the other end of the bar and wondered how much of Nathan's spittle he'd have to clean up after this round of arguing.

Jessica had been frantically trying to call her family for the past two days. Not that she gave a damn what happened to her mother and father, but she cared about her little sister, and the phone ringing and ringing and no one answering was making her panic.

She'd even tried to call Bill to see if he could pull some strings with Portalocity, since they were giving her the run around about getting her home, but as far as she could tell, no one remembered his existence. Sophie-Ann was still Queen of Louisiana.

Wait -- how did she exist then? Who made her?

Please excuse Jessica while she had an existential crisis.
