The hotel seemed to still be in a post-holiday lull, which Quinn was not one to complain about. She spent the day putting outfits together on Polyvore. She wasn't always a huge fashion person, but it was nice to play the 'what if I had unlimited money' game.

The hotel was open, and Quinn was behind the desk pondering subtle differences in black blazers.

Shira was having one of those days where she really loved her job. She'd had a small shipment to unpack and price and whatnot, but then all she had to do was tidy up the shop. And now she was poking around a shelf of books -- carefully, because you never knew in this place, and she wasn't going to take any chances -- and exploring their contents.

It was a good day in the Magic Box. A slow day but a good one.

So, the new semester had started, and his classes looked as if they'd be... well, Philosophy wasn't quite what he'd been expecting, but it was sure to be fascinating nonethless.

Not that he was thinking about that too much at all at this particular moment, with the cascade of apples that seemed to fall on him every time he went to move anything in the shop. Eventually he gave up on trying to tidy up, choosing instead to sit at the counter and use the computer to watch a documentary on how stress affected various mammals.

Lion-o was disturbed to find all sorts of healthy foods within reach when he checked the walk-in fridge. "Spinach? Kale? Flaxseed? Where the heck is all the good stuff?" he grumbled. After walking through the fridge for a while, he came across something that looked like hamburgers. By then, he was freezing since he hadn't grabbed a jacket, so he gave up and headed back to the kitchen. Hopefully all this healthy junk was actually edible.

The Boards, Wednesday, After Radio

After the broadcast and only slightly smelling of rum, thank you, Jono made his way back to the Boards. If the squirrels were to be believed, they wouldn't have to worry about the cost of costuming for their upcoming show, which would save them literally thousands.

Naturally, this meant that he was going to sit back in the office chair, put his feet up on the table, and try to adjust the budget for the show accordingly.

With the Petey Sci-Fi soundtrack playing on the speakers as performed by Richard O'Brien, because he was just in that kind of mood.

Mmm, Super Heroes.

Tino had apparently been under the impression that Nathan had quit because he looked positively devastated when Nathan showed up again. Nathan, always one to be polite and courteous to all, told Tino that he'd been in here earlier doing inventory and one of the bottles of liquor had some backwash in it.

Unfortunately, Nathan couldn't remember which one so he tasked Tino with finding it. That'd keep them both busy for awhile. Nathan, of course, would be laughing his ass off.

Jessica was bored and leaning over the bar painting her nails while keeping half an eye on the door. The smell was making the bartender shoot her a dirty look, but she just popped her fangs out and bitchfaced right back at him.

A proper manicure was important, okay?
