Raven found herself with classes only on Wednesday and Thursday, which left her with extra-long weekends, excepting her library shift. She was definitely going to have to find things to do to occupy that time now.

Her conversation with Karla yesterday had gone about as she expected. Now to bring up the same topic with Jono. And no, she wasn't eyeing any of the store's stock of lingerie as a potential tool to sway him to her reasoning. Well, she was eyeing it, but not for that reason.

It was another normal day at the hotel, with the exception of the maid hiding in the janitor's closet. Mary hadn't been able to get a clear answer as to why she was hiding. When she tried to ask, the maid would only say, "The secret word is 'conundrum.'" It wasn't a puzzle that Mary particularly wanted to solve, so she went back to doing her paperwork.

Kitty had set Tino up with a mission today. The party was on Saturday, and she wanted to have some new drinks on hand to use as specials. Since Tino had more bartending experience than she did and would be behind the bar anyway, it was his job to try making them.

Of course, the only ones he offered Kitty to try were the ones that made him look like he'd just been poisoned. "What would make you think that's a good idea?" she'd ask.
