Back at work for the first time in months... was proving to take some getting used to. Ender was almost surprised to find the raspberries rolling out the door the moment he opened it, and the hour or so he spent sweeping them up off the floor meant he didn't really have time to set anything else up.

He finally sat down and began conversing with Jane about a few theories they'd been poking at about Ben's universe. He still felt a little jittery, and while he didn't miss Naboo per se, he did keep getting strikingly reminded of it.

Fandom Fish 'n Bait - Monday

It was almost noon when Fish 'N Bait opened, even if all Jon did was unlock the door, flip the sign to open and shove the 'Help Wanted' sign in the window.

Anyone who ventured in would find Jon slumped over the counter, clutching a very large travel mug full of coffee like it was liquid gold, with very dark sunglasses covering his poor eyes.

Yes, Jon had a fun weekend. And once the vikings stopped wrecking havoc in his head, he would tell you all about NYE in NYC.

Goodvalor's Little Bivoli- Monday

Since most of Annie's classes this semester were on Tuesday (including one with her boss, which might make it a little awkward to explain why she wasn't at work), today was the first day of her new Monday shift.

Which was pretty much exactly the same as her old Tuesday shift. But whatever. Her college applications had been submitted, her financial aid requests were going through, she had work figured out, and it was the first day of a new semester. What was there not to feel good about?

It was a new year and so Karla decided to come in and tidy up the store, take inventory, and try to sketch out a few plans for the store to drum up new customers for the store. Maybe reach out to Mr. Rogers since he was teaching Sex Ed this year? Try to play up the novelty angle? Throw some kind of store party?

Oooh, yeah. That last one sounded like fun. Hmmm...
