Zinzi arrived for her first real shift to find the dishwasher pacing around the kitchen, checking under pots and pans and generally freaking out.
"
Aweh," Zinzi greeted, a tone of resignation in her voice. "What's the matter with you?"
"I can't find my lucky rocketship!" The Dishwasher complained. "I've looked everywhere!"
Zinzi sighed, giving the guy's lost threads a quick look. "Ten," she said.
"What?"
"For ten dollars, I'll tell you where it is."
The dishwasher and the cook exchanged glances. The cook shrugged. The dishwasher nodded, and handed Zinzi a ten dollar bill.
"It's in his pocket," she said, nodding to the cook. The cook stared. The dishwasher glared.
Zinzi took no responsibility for the amount of yelling that was coming from the back room, today. It wasn't her fault the cook was a klepto, after all.
