The Perk- Sunday afternoon

Today when Jaye got to the Perk, she had learned a lesson from last time. She brought her laptop in so she'd have something to keep herself entertained while she sat at a table and drank her coffee.

And after five minutes of surfing, she realized it was pretty much nothing but football talk. Okay, that was it, next time she was bringing a book.

The nice thing about working with horses was that they were fairly easy when it came to forgiving someone for coming to work late.

Especially when that someone brought apples to share.

Perched on a hay bale, Firekeeper munched on an apple of her own as she caught up with what the horses had done this week, a disinterested Blind Seer lounging nearby.

The Boards, Sunday Evening [Rehearsal]

When people arrived to the Boards for rehearsal today, they'd see that Jono had brought along... well, a measuring tape. You know. For reasons.

"Today, we're going to get started by working our way through the first scenes of the script," he said, nodding to the group assembled. "That would be the wedding scene, Garnet and Lad on their way to the castle, and the Time Warp."

Because, so help him, he just wanted to get a start on the Time Warp.

"Any lines that belong to supporting characters will be handed to members of the chorus, which gives some of you an opportunity to speak at the wedding. And, for anyone who doesn't know, it's a jump to the left, and a step to the right."

He was helpful like that.

"I've also brought the measuring tape along, so that people can start taking measurements. Costumes for our lingerie roles will be supplied by Dite's, and we'll need those measurements in because some of them are going to need to be ordered in specially for the show."

He was looking at you, Herc. Guy.

Turtle & Canary, Sunday

It was just another Sunday at the store - the panda had his side, Nana had hers, and Dolf was squashed somewhere in between with his phone.

He was googling uselessly for any mention of a time machine. A time-and-space machine. Portalocity experiences with different versions of the same universe. Nothing, however, seemed to point him in any way towards something that might help him get home, and so eventually, he gave up.

Instead he was going to sit right here behind this counter and watch Nana stretch herself impressively across an entire aisle.

"Don't do that," he said. It didn't help.

Today's Slushy flavors: Dog Hair, Blue Lightning, Grape Judas.

The Devil's Nest- Sunday

It'd been three days without anything weird or creepy happening. Susan almost didn't trust it at this point.

Unless you counted the fact that the DJ was only playing the one hits of the last decade's one hit wonders. Not that Susan had any idea what that noise was, or why anyone cared who let the dogs out and why no one had beaten that band before this song was ever released.

The Devil's Nest was open.
