Cassie was cleaning the store and unpacking new boxes of inventory that she found.

Look, she was a witch that was easily pleased.

There was music by Merwyn Goodall playing through the speakers and she was having a good time setting up new displays and restocking old ones.

The Magic Box was open.

Today was shaping up to be a quiet day at the store. Well, not that much ever really happened there, except for maybe last week with the crazy people. But today was looking quieter than usual, without even much work that Topher could pretend to do.

So he was looking up where to go on dates.

The Boards, Saturday, All Day

Jono could go out drinking today. It was, after all, definitely the day for it. He could head to one of the bars, order something extremely hoppy and most certainly imported, and just drink himself stupid. He hadn't had a chance to do that on St. Patrick's Day in, well, years.

He could. And that was new and novel, and kind of amazing, really.

Except that he'd looked at the calendar, and he'd realized that there were all of two more rehearsals before the performance. Which was on Friday. Which meant that tomorrow would be act two, and Thursday would be the dress rehearsal, and then... When the hell had it become March, anyhow?

And so, instead of going out to enjoy the festivities, Jono was going over all the sets and props, making certain that everything was sturdy and functional, checking and re-checking the layout of the lights, rehearsing all of the musical numbers on his guitar. And, theoretically, selling tickets.

Today was going to be a very Petey Paddy's Day.

In honor of St. Patrick's Day the staff at the ice cream shop insisted that Ben only order ice cream that was green, which was why he was sitting at a table picking at a mint chocolate chip and pistachio sundae.

He decided it wasn't the greatest combination ever.

Eric had been minding his own business walking across the park on his way to the Devil's Nest when the gremlin bit him, then the two other unfortunate souls who'd also been there with him.

And that's how Eric, Anakin and Ben were under the mistaken impression that they were the Blarney Brothers, wearing white sweaters and oh-so-attractive berets (which weren't Irish, but try telling them that), standing on a stage that didn't exist outside of their insane, gremlin-bitten minds and singing that most beloved of Irish ballads: Danny Boy.

Outside the club, over the door, there was now a sign that said

The last one hadn't shown up on any weird Fandom weekends; it was just a general safety precaution.

Inside the club, behind the bar, Bo was dressed completely in black. It might have been a gesture of rebellion against anything containing blue tulle, or given the date, maybe she just wanted to get pinched.
