Alice was in a cheerful mood as she arrived at work, doing a quick tidy of the shop before taking her seat.

She had yet to have a proper conversation with either of her bosses -- the most conversation they'd had had been Arya hiring her -- but she wasn't worried. She knew there'd be actual conversation soon, courtesy of what she'd seen.

K-Mart was busy rearranging a display -- that she was actually supposed to be rearranging this time. Sean had left orders for her to rearrange the display and set up another, which she was happy for because it gave her something to actually do instead of coming up with creative things to do on her own.

Her creativity? Was never a good thing.

Magic Box, Thursday, 5/10

Tara probably would have never found out the island was being a little, uh, extra special today if it wasn't for the fact she dropped a box full of prebrewed potion bases all over the freshly-mopped floor. The vials broke, and it turned out one "safe" potion was ... not so safe to poor, innocent linoleum.

The "OH, MILKY FIDDLING DAGNABBIT" that she came out with could probably be heard across the street.

Dite's Decadent Delights, Thursday Afternoon

For some very odd reason, some of the more explicitly labeled products seemed to have been renamed today. 

"'Fudging' Like a Pro?" she read off one book, eye raised.  "Shouldn't that be 'fudging?'"

Beat.

"F--" 

Beat. 

"I fudging hate you, Fandom." 

Dite's was open, and Emma was trying every swear word in every language she knew, with little success.
