...The mysterious, indoor thunder from the other day in the library appeared to have followed William to the shop today.

After the first couple instances, he realized what was going on and met the next loud crash with an eyeroll to the heavens and a sigh.

[ooc: Because it's Thorsday. Shut up.]

UC-Sunnydale had sent out its course catalog for the fall. Call Tara a geek, but once the shop was in order she was going to spend her shift thumbing through it and trying to pick out exactly the perfect classes, even though there were weeks left before she could register officially.

It was going to be weird, going back to math and English lit after three years of Fandom classes. She was surprised how very vanilla the class list read, for a school near a Hellmouth; she would have thought they'd at least sneak in something on demonology, even if they pretended it was based on myths.

Her universe had strange priorities.

[OOC: Open shop, no OCD!]

Petra, upon finding the iPod in the speaker system set to JPop on Thursday morning, switched it out for her own. She was feeling kind of nostalgic today. Which was how one might find her dancing around to Boyz Will B Boyz songs as she straightened up.

"Gotta keep it real, girl, to get with me, real like nature, real like a tree!" And she twirled, her arms shooting upward like branches, before grabbing the broom before it fell and continuing to sweep the floors.

Millie was here and the Help Wanted sign was still up in the window!

There were also new books, which were really far more interesting.

Alex flipped the sign to 'Open' before going about his usual duties. You know, making sure the meditation area was set up, dusting the shelves, playing Solitaire on the computer.

He wondered if Mr. Cable would notice if he brought in an XBox so he could play Call of Duty during work...

Wellspring Arms? Open!

Emma had found paperwork pertaining to the 'name the cock' contest, but no evidence as to the clear winner.

However, she'd found another way to amuse herself today. It was gorgeous outside, and she'd set up a little folding chair right outside the shop door so she could sit outside and read. And next to her, on the ground, was a camera.

Given how disgustingly popular Instagram was, and the fact Emma was from ten years in the past, she still owned a very beloved Polaroid camera... well, the little sign next to the cock that said "Straddle the Cock, $5" probably gave a good hint as to her intent.

Dite's was open, and Auntie Emma would ring you up if you absolutely had to have something. Otherwise she'd be working on her summer reading.

When it was suggested that Tinny get a job to pay off her debt to her grandfather, she was hoping it would be somewhere entertaining and fun...for a job anyway. Answering phones, filing paperwork, and making coffee runs was not exactly what she had in mind. Yet, that's what she was doing. She knew Uncle Jake had gotten her this internship thing at the Trooper Station just so he could keep an eye on her. That whole over protective thing was never going to end.

She didn't even get to have an honorary fake badge or one of those cool Trooper helmets or anything. How lame.

Whatever. She'd tell people back home she was helping to fight crime. Des would totally believe it!

Tinny sighed. Life was so hard.

[open!]

Well, it had been only a matter of time before Karolina found her way down to the beach, hadn't it? It was the wrong ocean, but a beach was a beach, and Karolina liked beaches. Sure, it was a little cloudy, but she wasn't going to let that stop her from enjoying herself. She'd even brought a little blanket with her, and spread that out on the sand so she could sit down, cross-legged and pushing her hair out of her face.

And since she had been prepared well enough to have a blanket with her, it should have come as no surprise that she'd also brought snacks. Just a few vegan treats and some apple juice to hold her over while she was here, recharging her batteries in more ways than one.

As she sat there, a few unwelcome thoughts crossed her mind – what Nico was doing right now, or Molly, or Chase, and whether there were beaches on Majesdane – but she pushed those aside and just looked out toward the water. Maybe she could grow to like this view.

[ooc: Open beach is open!]

That would be Kenzi, snoozing on the bar top, a glass of mud-slide in one hand.

And that would be Mumford, busily doing her job for her, as Tino looked on askance.

[busyish, mod the bartender and the brownie!]
