Magic Box, Thursday, 5/31

Tara was fussing over the accounting software at the Magic Box today. She'd never exactly been trained on it, she just kind of picked things up as she went along. It seemed, too, like the shop basically ran itself.

... except for when it didn't. The budget refused to balance for her, and anyone who came into the shop today might find Tara squinting at a pile of receipts and then at the computer screen as if the mystery of the missing $85 would reveal itself if she just looked hard enough.

Today, William was busy tinkering with something that resembled a lie detector.

Which would be... because it was a lie detector.

As per usual, he was careful to use the kind of parts he was sure he could acquire back home, taking detailed notes as he went along.

Tinny had already taken care of some paperwork and filing. She made a few coffee runs. Now, she was playing games on Facebook. She wasn't at all thinking about how Des was no longer listed as single. Who was this Chandra person anyway? Not that she cared. Because she wasn't thinking about it. Nope. She had more important things to do...like maintain a castle.

Kenzi was doing work on Jell-O shots again, branching out to more yellow and orange and pink colors for spring. Also, green, but it ended up as being, well. Kind of a gremlin color. Drink at your own risk.
