Jack got to work breathless from his rush from the portal, still swallowing his last bite of a genuine New York bagel with lox.

As impromptu Sunday trips went, this one seemed to have firmly been a success. Emma was well, they'd had an excellent dinner ... and, as a bonus, he'd woken up firmly back in his proper body. He was grateful he'd packed for the possibility.

He had a grin on his face even the pile of invoices he needed to properly complete and file could not erase.

Today Cade (with all bits that should be there there, and nothing extra to be seen...and now he was wondering if they were waiting for them in some warehouse for the next weird weekend. Thanks for that, Stiles...) was behind the counter nursing a hangover by eating chocolate-covered espresso beans by the handful.

Don't expect a lot of attention to detail today, all right?

The shop was open!

Priestly was actually mildly disappointed that the girl-weekend was over by Monday morning. Not because he didn't miss his boy parts, but having that much hair to play with was a lot of fun. Besides, the Santa Cruzians' entirely handwaved reactions to him skyping home had been priceless.

Of course, the kitchen staff was easier to deal with when they weren't spontaneously a different gender. You'd think that'd never happened to them before or something.

Today's specials
"Deluxe" mac & cheese
Garlic fries
Brownie sundaes
Now hiring! Most shifts available!

Luke's was open.

It was a good night to do some rooftop lurking.

When wasn't it a good night to do some rooftop lurking? Never, that was when. Robin might be out here for a while, too, occasionally scanning the town with binoculars or hopping from roof to roof (with unnecessary acrobatics, of course).

It was just a thing she did. No, she didn't turn up a whole lot of anything in the way of crime, but it never stopped her from looking . . .

[OOC: Open, as you do. As always, that Robin's around is fine for broadcast, but not that it's Steph.]
