Across the Causeway, Wednesday Morning

Did Atton have classes today? He couldn't remember. Wasn't exactly like he was going to put in a lot of effort to get there in time this morning anyway, as he dragged his ass across the causeway relatively early in the morning. (Relatively being the key word.)

He was still wearing yesterday's clothes and he had a case of let's-call-it-bedhead that no comb at whatsher-- Marina? Something like that-- 's apartment had been able to tame, but it was not (and he would stress this) a walk of shame. You had to be ashamed of what you just did for that one, and he wasn't.

It had been fun, and it had shut up the demons for a night.

Now if he could just get the rain to stop drizzling on him, that'd be great.

Shira was missing home something fierce after her impromptu trip back over the weekend. But she wasn't going to dwell on it, not when she had a job to do.

Even if said job didn't involve much in the way of actual work today, it being a fairly slow day and all. She was finding work to do... so yeah, those displays in the windows might've been reorganized half a dozen times, sorry.

It was a good day, though, if a little overly thinky. She could live with that.

What was it that the DJ had against Derek's sanity? Because today he was playing Blue Moon on loop.

Derek? Derek already had the right spot to bury a body picked out. That's how much he loved this song. Really.
