The Beach, Saturday Afternoon
Saturday, October 13th, 2012 10:39 amFeet firmly buried on the sand, Alice decided that she liked the quiet. Sure, it was a quiet that it didn't seem like it would last much, but whatever was to come, she didn't really have a say in it, and would probably benefit out of it anyway. It was perhaps because she had spent so much time around sand, but the beach made her feel at least a bit at ease.
It could also have been because of the sight of the sea, which she hadn't seen since...well, she had no idea. She just hoped to grow bored about the sea soon enough, lest she secretly was the kind of person that stopped to marvel about nature and made paintings of the waves. Now that would be a side of herself she wouldn't expect to have.
