The Perk, Thursday Morning

After a quiet few days enjoying the silence of the dorms, Yeul had woken up and thought that venturing forth, even just for a little bit, would be nice.

Since she didn't really have any idea of where she wanted to wind up, Yeul made her first stop the Perk so she could get a hot drink (apple cider) and sit by the windows as she pondered where else to go.

As far as dilemmas went… this was not much of one. If she couldn't decide, that was fine. If she did make up her mind, that was also fine.

Her cider was very good in any case. That meant the day was going quite well.

The Park, Thursday Morning

Kaidan might've gotten back to the island late last night - it wasn't going to keep him from his morning jog. It was... nice, especially now, with the island this quiet. Might still be taking some time to shake his melancholy, but after days holed up with his parents, the silence was something he could appreciate.

Along the beach, then up the stairs. Up more stairs, along the road-- and finally into the park, where he stopped by the side of the duck pond to take a breather. Have a sip of water.

Mutter, "Huh, guess flamingos moult, too," to himself as he leaned down and picked up a feather.

Feeling melancholy didn't make him less distractable, as it turned out.

MCA Lobby, Friday

Well, Zayne had to be going soon. The Republic Navy was calling him back in and he couldn't exactly say no, not while he had an opportunity to change warfare in the minds of some people. But he still had a few days left before he had to go. Hopefully that would give him enough time to find someone to manage the building in his absence. Goodvalor's would be fine. The droids could handle that.

But for MCA, he had to put a sign up in the window: "MANAGER WANTED: INQUIRE WITHIN."

And then he settled in by the office and waited to see what would happen.
