As he expected, Coulson did not walk out of last night with a new love connection or anything of the sort. (Although he did meet at least one interesting person, and that's why he made sure some of the best blades in the store were on display for any possible future visits.) But he was okay with that. He mostly went last night so he could point it out to Agent Barton the next time the subject of getting him a girlfriend came up.

But that was then, and now he had plenty of other things to focus on. Like making sure the gun range was up to standards, and the same for the cushions in the relaxation area. Two opposite ends of the spectrum, of course, but both vitally important to the running of Wellspring.

The Beach; Sunday Afternoon

Not having anything better to do with herself after spending a much needed night of socialization, Emily had decided to get some 'standing in cold water' time. She had listened to the radio, and while she had hoped not to get as much squirrel attention as she had, Emily supposed she couldn't really blame Topher for being...Topher, which was basically the only thing saving him from a slow, painful death.

And oddly enough, she was smiling. Much against her desires, she was starting to feel at home despite the fact the place had enough weirdness going on to make her feel plain average. Maybe that was its appeal. Dammit Fandom, she couldn't make with feeling at ease, not there, not until she was done. Still, Emily was utterly failing at battling that sudden good mood, so cold seawater it was.
