Mary's smoothie-drinking health nut with the incredible abs had checked out over the weekend. She knew it wouldn't last, but she was still going to feel a bit upset over it. As a result, she may not have been fully paying attention to the comings and goings in the lobby.

Streets of Fandom; Tuesday Afternoon

Something was wrong.

No, really, Alice knew of this things, and the feeling she was getting was definitely not right. It was a mix of the dead silence of the streets, the emptiness of the streets...she couldn't put it in words, but Alice was very well informed about places suddenly going terribly wrong. And filled with the undead.

Hence the walking. She couldn't -almost prayed she shouldn't- be the only one left, right? She had come to the damn island to avoid that very same thing after all, regardless of just how sociable she was in her best day, but that was something else entirely.

So yeah, Alice was in patrol duty. She supposed that going around town and then to the school was the best way to at least get an idea of what was going on.
