Graduation Brunch, the Park, Early Sunday Afternoon

It was a Fandom tradition that went back... well, at the very least several years: graduation brunch, offering visitors and locals alike the best food available on the island.

There was a banner that stretched from tree to tree declaring CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 2013 in big glittery letters. There were tables full of moddable food and drink. There were happy decorations in blue and yellow and a long series of picnic tables for people to sit at and mingle.

And then there was the bit at the end where Mayor Swanson was barbecuing an entire pig's worth of food. Uh... Yeah.

Coulson still wasn't sure about this whole "weapons store that actually sells weapons" thing, but at least it let him express himself a little more in terms of signs.

Going out into the real world now that you've graduated?
You should be packing heat!
Or at least a good knife.

Sometimes Coulson thought he got into the wrong industry. Sign making was the best. (That was a lie.)

The Devil's Nest- Sunday

Today the DJ was playing classical music. Which, Jaina didn't really mind it, though it didn't seem right for a club. The part that bugged her was that sometimes it was so quiet she forgot it was on, and then the music would suddenly get dramatic and startle her a little, and it was getting ridiculous.

Maybe she could get him to play something obnoxious? Maybe?

Was it weird that Leda missed sleeping on benches? She thought it was. Her days as a street kid had been filled with fear, and as a street teen, fear of another sort.

But they were also somewhat carefree days. When she didn't have the weight of the world on her shoulders. So now and then, she liked to return to her roots, and sleep on a park bench.

Tomorrow she would depart Fandom, probably for the last time. But for now, she was just going to enjoy the night.
