Sam had a customer on the phone today who was planning a trip to space Florida and had a lot of very specific needs.

For one thing, she wanted the lowest possible rate, but she refused to arrive in the middle of the week or travel to one of the less-popular portal hubs. On top of that, she wanted a first-class portal, but she wanted her kids in economy class, and when Sam pointed out that she would need to pay an extra fee for sending minors through unaccompanied,the woman demanded to speak to her supervisor.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry, and I'll do that in just one moment," Sam promised. "I just need to look up... who my supervisor is."

The DJ was actually playing normal music tonight which left Buffy...well, sort of suspicious. She wasn't going to outright interrogate the DJ but she was giving him some side eye from the bar throughout the evening. Don't try any funny business, mister.
