Another Wednesday, another Stark shift for Victor. He was inspired by his chat with Raven the afternoon before to spend some time setting aside refurbished products he thought might make sense to someone from sixty years ago.

This was not easy. Sixty years ago, computers were pretty much the size of the shop, so he imagined the learning curve was going to be fairly steep.

He was so happy to have a project that he ignored the jumble of figs that kept spilling out of open drawers. After so long in the shop, the fruit was pretty much expected.

Of course Kenzi was late her first day at the new job. What are you, crazy?

"Like you slackers were working before I got here. There weren't even any specials up," she pointed out to the kitchen staff. Sneers were exchanged. Insults in languages not English. Before it all devolved to 'your mama' and 'your papa!' comments, Kenzi wrote down the specials and told them, "Next time, I'll be challenging you to a cook-off if this keeps up. No one wants that."

Derek had only just managed to get all the glitter off his scalp and clothing after multiple showers and washings. Which meant tomorrow would be even worse than you might have thought.

But, for now, he was quietly celebrating his victory over the glitter.
