For her first day at work, Gert had come prepared in a relatively nice-looking dress and flats, which meant that no sooner had she gotten behind the counter before she got splashed by ketchup and maple syrup, which were residing together in a single bowl for some ridiculous reason.

"It actually looks okay," she admitted, glancing down at the formerly yellow dress after her initial yelp. But she put on an apron anyway. Obviously.

To be honest, Alice wasn't really paying much attention to work today. She was packing some guns, some bigger guns, and a couple of pretty wicked looking blades, as well as making sure everything was greased and sharpened and completely lethal. Look, she could only remain indifferent for so long, and she had probably sat still for too long already, but Alice guessed she should at least try to find the convoy that kept bothering her over the radio. God bless portals and the fact she might actually spare herself the long walk on the desert.

But she was in the store nonetheless, so it was open for business.

Life in Fandom had been so...engaging, to say the least, that a certain secret-indentity-concerned girl had inadvertently kicked back and half forgotten about the new-ish black suit Arachnne had given to her. She wasn't all that eager to drop her usual costume...which wasn't really much of a costume, alright, but she also wasn't that immature to turn down a gift. So that night she had donned the suit and made a few laps through the warehouses. It was different now that she lacked the extra strength, the extra agility and of course, the wall crawling, but Spider-Girl was glad to see she still had it.

She only failed to land on her feet three out of ten times, after all.

Sitting on the edge of a warehouse, she inspected her suit. Being all black was a blessing, because it was also pretty skin tight and clingy...and let's just say Spider-Girl wasn't all that comfortable showing herself off. It was a good thing her training regime hadn't suffered much, so she was thankfully fit. Not a curvy goddess like half the superheroines she knew, though, but hey, she was rocking the suit nonetheless.

"Now, if there was some sort of petty crime going on," Spider-Girl said, sigh in tow. Well, at least there would be no choice of her being all embarrassed, right?

The weather wasn’t the greatest, and there was a good chance she’d be stuck out in a thunderstorm, but Yeul had wanted to walk down to the beach and… well… the weather had not been much of a deterrent. (It seldom was.)

She walked along the beach for a while before taking a seat on the sand and rock and just watching the waves.

It was nice.

Yeul appreciated that.
