There'd been a gremlin incident today. It'd bitten Tino before they even knew it was there, and then it was up to Kitty to grab it while phased and then drop it out into the alley out back, and could she just say phasing was never more useful than when dealing with something with hallucinogenic venom?

By the time she got back into the bar, though, she'd found Tino Riverdancing on the counter, then banished him to the stage if he was going to go all Michael Flatley on her.

So Kitty was just going to clean the bartop again while occasionally muttering, "I'm going on vacation. I'm going on vacation..."

There were enormous piles of onions in the kitchen today, and every time Bay looked back one chef was urging another to CHOP FASTER, THIS ISN'T A GAME.

Apparently, the slow onion-cutter was trying to improve his knife skills before auditioning for some Gordon Ramsey show. When Bay pointed out that technically did make it a game, she got a handful of chopped onions tossed at her.

She retreated back to the safety of the counter, dish of lemon slices close at hand to combat the onion fug.

Gunther was in one of his moods again. He tried to argue for a new oven, then a new stove, then a new blender. But when he demanded that he needed lederhosen in order to do his job properly, Mary was done. She sent Gunther back to the kitchen and started repeating, "I do not need a drink," to herself.
