Sparkle could be packing his things up to move them to the bouncy castle he was supposed to be living in, today. He could. He could just skip his shift at Demon Marcus in order to go pack up his things and Velcro's (the cat, at this point, had more crap to pack than he did) so that he could make his move to his summer lodgings.

Or he could kill his shift by dangling a neon yellow shoelace for his cat to play with, because like hell was he going to actually be productive on the day he was supposed to be moving into a big inflatable playhouse. He'd much rather be here, surrounded by distractions. And then later he could head off to the campground area to see who he was going to be driving insane with his exuberant bouncing, because of course he was going to bounce. Of course.

Flick wasn't going near the bouncy castles. Not if he could help, he wasn't. He'd taken one look at them, cursed under his breath, dumped his stuff and headed into town. He'd sleep on a freaking couch in an alley before testing the bouncy castles. He figured Jude would love them, though. And Flick was still pretty desperate to see Jude so.

So.

He wasn't thinking about it. Instead, he was sitting outside of JGOB with a cold bottle of water and a tablet that definitely wasn't his on the table. He'd taken an early morning excursion to the mainland, hopped on a bus and lifted the tablet from the bag of a snoring man. Easy pickings. He'd gotten off at the next stop and headed back to the island, tablet in hand.

He hadn't decided what he was going to do with the tablet yet. Maybe he'd keep it, most likely he'd sell it and send the money back to New York. Flick rubbed his head, fingers brushing back and forth over the scar where Mandel had implanted the tracking device. Still wasn't working.

And he was still here. Flick sighed and took another drink of water.

Once the squirrel telethon started going, it was clear it wouldn't stop any time soon. Not until they had enough rum to satisfy themselves. After being carried out of the radio booth, Jessica hit up an ATM to bring twenty bucks back. It was only fair. The squirrels were planning on being entertaining. And sure enough, by the time she got back to the radio station, there was a kiddie pool set up outside with one of the squirrels water skiing in it.

Probably more impressive was that a squirrel was driving the speedboat pulling the skier, and there were other squirrels dressed up as sharks for the skier to jump. And you know what? It was pretty great when it happened.

So don't mind Jessica. She was just going to be watching the show today, until the point where she'd have to move her stuff to the campsite.

[OOC: Open to anyone who wants to watch or donate to the squirrel Rum Fund. Or talk to Jessica.]

There were no sharks around, the DJ wasn't playing anything stupid, there wasn't anything new to be annoyed about... So yeah, Jaina was bored at work. '

So if you wanted a drink today, you were going to have to wait for Jaina to get a glass off of the little structure of them she'd built on the bar.
