Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty was back in town in time for her shift, feeling so much better than she had a week ago, and man did she not want to work today. She'd just much rather still be in Paris, making her boyfriend translate everything for her even when she could figure out what something meant. Because she could.

So she was here, but was keeping busy by doing busy work stuff and avoiding catching up on anything she'd missed over the last few days. And maybe planning on surprising Clint at home once she got off work. Also because she could.

Fandom Post Office, August 13 (Tuesday)

Usually, Éponine didn't mind fielding questions and complaints from customers; she wasn't in the office for long enough every day to have to do it all the time, so it was more of an interesting diversion for her than it was a frequent annoyance.

Usually.

She would have to make an exception for today: a woman had come in wanting to mail a package, but the post office computer refused to accept "The Corner of Ouroboros Road" as a valid street address. The woman insisted that it was perfectly valid in the destination dimension. The computer kept disagreeing. Éponine kept trying to convince it otherwise, first through typological trickery then, when that failed, by flat-out attempting to talk it into complying.

Eventually, she figured out how to get the address to go through, but they went around in circles like this for a while.

The Perk | Tuesday Morning

It had been insanely quiet for Stiles the past few weeks, and instead of being relieved it actually made him feel kind of on edge. Probably the last thing he needed was caffeine but he stayed up all night on his phone reading Gaga and Katy Perry stan wars on ONTD. Shut up and let him have his hobbies, okay? At least that meant Jackson only had to deal with an hour or two of Stiles' cuddling rather than all night.

Stiles had deluded himself into thinking Jackson was the type of jerk who needed a good cuddle every now and again so he refused to feel bad about it.

Was that---yes, more stan wars for him to read! And this time indoors surrounded by coffee.

The Devil's Nest, Tuesday

It was a very busy evening for Emma at the Devil's Nest - busy swearing at her laptop and trying to arrange her class schedule to her liking for the fall semester. The angry litany of French falling from her mouth was NWS, so the DJ was pumping up the Industrial music to drown her out. Which only made Emma swear louder.

The Devil's Nest was open, although you might need earplugs.
