Jake didn't often bring work to, well. Work. But there had been a flurry of calls left on the station voicemail about unidentified lawn gnomes appearing in front of people's houses when he'd checked in before heading to Caritas. So he was dealing with the resulting paperwork and directing troopers via the phone to go out and talk to the concerned Fandom citizens in between pouring drinks. As you do.

Well, Derek had been spoiled by the DJ not tormenting him lately. So, really, he was due for a nice round of Mmmbop playing on loop. Because this place was hell and the DJ was a master torturer.

And someone messed up his organization of the alcohol.

People were the worst.

Kenzi was checking the Apartments for Rent section on the island directory, and wondering how much those places would actually cost.

Also, if anyone would notice if she and Bo just moved into Efferton Manor.

Streets of Fandom, Late Wednesday evening

Just to make sure people were still aware of the party coming up on Friday (and possibly the well-paying temporary employment opportunities it presented if anyone is interested in playing greeter on Friday during the work day), Bruce actually took some time to go ahead and put up a few more fliers.

And of course, 'he put up some fliers' meant that he handsomely paid one of the hardworking, under-recognized workers in the town to do so. Bruce Wayne was a manager, not a laborer, and he was always willing to help someone out financially.
