The Park, Saturday Afternoon

There were some days, especially at this time of year, where sitting inside in an office all day would be a horrible waste. That was Jonothon's reasoning, at least, for saying to hell with Boards budgets and script-reading and actually working today, grabbing an acoustic guitar and a bag of stale bread, and making his way to the park. The weather was still nice, or nice again, where he was sitting, looking at it from the other end of a winter in Glacia that had run through Fandom's summer. The ducks were... still jerks, but that was a state of being shared by pretty much every duck, he was sure.
It seemed like a good day to sit on a park bench, alternating between throwing bread to the birds and playing songs he hadn't played in forever, things he didn't often think to play, starting with Disney songs and moving along to the Beatles. He didn't sing along with any of it, his voice was still too raw and he never had before, but most of what he played was perfectly recognizable, with or without the lyrics.
Sometimes, you just needed to spend a day doing nothing in particular. Especially if there had once been a time when that nothing had meant almost everything to you.
[OOC: Open park! Jono will happily share bread for the ducks or take requests, today. It's that kind of day.]
